“We have not been here in years. It was such a treat! The food was as wonderful as I remembered. Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and I ordered the walleye almondine which was beautifully done. The roll basket had a variety of breads and muffins. When you go leave room for dessert: Creme brulee, key lime pie and strawberry schaum torte. Yum! Cocktails were perfectly prepared and staff was friendly and attentive. Love the historical building, too. What a great place in Mequon to go.“
“Everything was fine until the bill came. The waitress not only charged our card with our bill (275.19) but also charged someone else's bill (119.00) to our card. She said she removed the $119 from our card. When we got notified about our charge, our tip wasn't on it. She left off her $52 tip!!!“
“I don't just go to a restaurant for the food. Service and atmosphere can make her break a meal. In this case, I wanted to bring a fantastic meal. I came in by myself, and felt so comfortable ordering to go from the bartender, Will. he recommended 12 pounds filet mignon and I complemented this with a loaded baked potato. While waiting, he highly recommended the mob craft vanilla, wafer Porter. I usually do not drink, porters or spout, but he was right. This was a very move and mellow beer with distinct flavors of vanilla wafer. Brooke, is a very personable waitress who sent me home with extra bread. Both Brooke and Will enjoy their job and it shows in their conversation. I felt welcome coming in for a to go order and sitting at the bar. As for the food, Will was right. The fillet was very flavorful and tender. Loaded baked potato the perfect amount of toppings. Had I not had to drive 10 minutes home, I would have chosen the Tara Mazzu sundae for dessert. This restaurant exceeded my expectations.“
“Went here for a Marquette Big East Tournament game during lent on a Friday. Lots of TVs, packed house, our servers seemed cool under pressure though and the upstairs had the game volume on.Food was good, tried a lot of different things and bartender was a little hammered but he seemed like he was still on top of his game lol.“
Steak House
“We chose Mr.B's for a birthday dinner. We wanted to bring the kids along and found Mr. B's had a kids menu. It gave my daughter the opportunity to try her first steak at a restaurant. She gave the kids steak a 5 star and is already asking when she can go back. Didn't get too many photos because we were too busy enjoying the atmosphere and fine food. From the bread basket to the flourless chocolate cake everything was delicious. Wife had the scallops and found them to be perfect, did mention that she would prefer them on a bed of risotto but aside from that she was satisfied. I had the New York with the loaded baked potato. The flavor of the steak is remarkable and you can tell they really take the time to prep the steaks. We also had the wedge salad which was a perfect size, full of fresh ingredients. Service was 5 star, they kept all the beverages full, cleared the table quickly. We will definitely be back, with the kids.“
“We had General Tso, Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Dumplings, and Egg Rolls. Staff was friendly, quick, and hustling as they were moving for a Monday night. Both dishes had a lot of flavor, fried rice was some of the better rice we've had in the area! We will be back for sure!“
“We love the Bay. We want it to continue to do well! I have to say the service is what brings me back all the time. The servers there are amazing. Food comes out hot and timely. Prices are reasonable. Pours are generous. And a lot of great outdoor seating which we enjoyed today. I have been eating vegan and they have 4 vegan items on their menu which is more than other restaurants in the area. I had the tofu peanut satay and it was very good!“

“Gallioto’s is, quite simply, a wonderful restaurant. The food was served piping hot, everything is fresh/scratch made, and they are very accommodating of special requests. The service was impecable, prompt, and personable. Anthony is one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered. He is so kind and friendly, and he always anticipates the need. Tonight we had one of the best Milwaukee dining experiences that we’ve had in a very long time. I’m only upset that my husband and I JUST realized that this restaurant exists just 10 minutes from our house! It’s the perfect spot for a date night.“
“The parking here is horrible so if you are handicap I would advise eating here early ! We got here at 545 pm on a Friday night and we couldn't find a place to park. We walked inside and checked in for our reservation. We sat at the bar and had a drink. The bartender working Friday night WAS VERY EASY ON THE EYES ! lol. After our first drink we were seated at a table right by the window. Our waitress was funny and was prompt getting us drinks. We ordered cheese curds and mozzarella sticks. Cheese curds were okay but mozzarella sticks were so good. I ordered the salmon with salsa it was okay. The ribs were fall off the bone. The seafood trio was good but a small portion size. The steak and shrimp was good I was told. We ordered cheesecake to go and that was okay. I like my cheesecake less fluffy. For four people who had two drinks each bill was $230.“
“This was a super random food stop while in Milwaukee a couple of weeks ago. It was one of the only spots open late and we didn't know what to expect. This is definitely a lil hood spot, which I personally love lol. The staff was super friendly, they even let my boyfriend use their restroom even though it was closed to guests. It's the small things lol.We ordered the catfish, wings and fries. I was originally thinking the food was a bit pricey. But when we got back to our hotel and opened the boxes there was so much food!!! Everything was good too. Perfectly seasoned and fried. This was legit a great, unexpected meal. We both really enjoyed the food!“

“Where the previous AJ bombers/Holey Moley used to be. The restaurant can fill up fast. Quite a bit of take out orders for the 2 hours we spent dining and having a great time with family. We arrived for an earlier dinner as we weren't sure of the crowd, upon leaving about 6 or 7 different tables were filled.I ordered the C platter with all the seasonings (the BOOM) and medium spicy. It was superb!! Jennie, our wait staff was absolutely wonderful. Attentive, kind, friendly and professional. Our meal arrives to the table and Jennie opened up the bags for us (was asked if we wanted to open or if we wanted Jennie to open). The seasonings were tasteful. The spice level is perfect! We all enjoyed our time here and the meal is delicious! Would definitely be back and this time ordering a few more items like the King crab legs to share with the group. Don't sleep and miss out on this place.My only 4 star is for the saucy curtains. They were spicy with sauce! ? could use a good wiping.“

“We came in at about 730 on a Wednesday. My bar was low - we were hungry and looking for something fast and ready. Not necessarily good. This place was more than just good - it was great! I won't lie, I was a bit throw off with the Styrofoam plates and cups with the plastic silverware, but the food makes it worth it. The dumplings were perfectly cooked. Every main entree was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. All cold food was cold and all the hot food was hot. The white rice was very fresh. Habachi was closed and the sushi was sparse but we didn't come here for those things. The staff were clearing plates, sitting people, and maintaining the buffet constantly. I've never had better service at a buffet - the staff were all very polite and personable. Bathrooms are clean and properly stocked. The tables are clean and the whole environment feels homey. The only thing I noticed was the giant rip in the carpet, but that means nothing - this entire restaurant is well maintained and well loved. We will be coming back.“
“The service was warming. The young lady made sure we had everything we needed. She recognized it was my first time visiting their establishment. You could tell she had a relationship with their customers. Which says a lot. The fish was fresh and fried with a great golden coating. The pieces were a nice size not tiny and shriveled up. ???? We will be returning. We thank you for great service.Note: Don't allow the exterior to detour you from trying them out. It may not be fancy however everything was fresh and it didn't look dirty.Parking: There is offstreet parking available.“
