“The staff is always super friendly and outgoing.I've always gotten take out or delivery as I work nearby.The pulled pork has a good peppered kick to it, which I am a huge fan of! The brisket is good, but prefer the pulled pork.The side are pretty amazing. The corn pudding is amazing, I could eat it everyday. The hush puppies are dang good too! The best part, they drop them in the frier when you arrive for your pick up so they are super fresh and hot!The peach cobbler dessert is very tatsy as well!Overall, an excellent choice compared to the usual carry out in the area!“

“The atmosphere was comfortable, energetic, and positive. The two guys behind the counter were so enthusiastic about the product and customer service. My boss and I are here for lunch and I couldn't have had a better time. The tables and eating area were clean. The best part of all was the food. There was nothing but good things to say about our plate. The apple pie baked beans were amazing. The mashed potatoes were delicious. BEST OF ALL, THE BRISKET/RIBS/JALAPENO SAUSAGE WAS DELICIOUS. It melts in your mouth and truly takes so full of flavor. We recommend to ANYONE to stop by!“

“We were in town for Easter, visiting our son. He recommended this place. It was great! Fun atmosphere, great beer and food, and excellent service. I am not much of a beer drinker, but I tried the Mango beer and it was so good. My husband loved the cider beer also. We will be back to try more beers and food. Fish was phenomenal. I had the cod, hubby the walleye. They were both delicious.“
“I am a consistent patron of this Longhorn Steakhouse. My server was Jon this time and ever since I started coming here is a top notch person and waiter/server/bartender. Effective, efficient, personable individual. Always impressed by the friendly and thoughtful staff!The atmosphere had music playing that is often country music. It is about background music volume but closer to talking volume. The food is consistently outstanding. I enjoy a simple salad that is fresh and crunchy! I am a fan of the signature flo's filet 6 or 9 oz medium with broccoli steamed. (See pictures) Always an excellent experience with food, staff, and atmosphere!“
“Stopped at Liberty Station for lunch as we were passing through the area. Decor was nice and the service was good. What impressed me most as a bourbon fan was their selection of high end bourbons available to sample. I ordered the brisket for lunch and it was very good! Mac and cheese has a little spice so if you don’t like heat I’d avoid it. Will stop again when I’m in the area!“

“Melly Mel's catered my July 2023 wedding and to say the entire experience was fantastic would be an understament.I spent years as a wedding planner working with great caterers and some not-so-great caterers, and I was fairly selective when it came to hiring my own wedding caterer.My fiance and I wanted to work with a local caterer who offered delicious food with great service at a reasonable price. And Melly Mel's exceeded my expectations on every level completely.Their soul food is so amazingly delicious. Every single guest - including people from both coasts and the south -- said it was not only the absolute best wedding food they have ever eaten, they said it was the best southern food.We ordered fried chicken, baked chicken, smoked pulled pork, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, collard greens, and banana pudding. All of it made from scratch and mouth-wateringly good.The tasting with Carmell went so well, and she is incredibly friendly and accommodating and organized.And I cannot rave enough about the presentation of the food at the wedding. I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but their on-site team served everything out of gorgeous silver domed chafing dishes -- it was so nice.The on-site team was INCREDIBLE. “I was looking for a barbecue restaurant in Madison near my hotel downtown. I chose Famous Dave's where closer to the hotel. It was very emptied when I walked in around 8pm, but a few staff were probably busy with takeaway orders, so I waited for a few mins until I was served to order. Since it was my first time dining at the famous Dave's, I asked for a recommendation after telling my favourite Barbie was ribs and beef briskets. Then I ordered 2 meat combos with 2 sides and a bottle of beer, sadly they didn't have any draft beer. I found a table next to the window and it didn't take long to get my food ready. The lady served the food to my table, well, I thought I needed to bring my food from the counter by myself. ?The rib was good, it was tender and moist and sauce was evenly covered on each rib. I think it's 85/100. But the beef brisket was too dry and I expected at least a bit of marbling and fat. The portion was good though. It is worth revisiting for the rib but definitely not for beef brisket.“
“I got the giant loaded potato with brisket. I had Dickies in Dallas once before and was so excited to see this place next to my hotel. I walked over ordered and ate in the restaurant…it was just as delicious as I remembered!! Ordering is easy just look at the board and pick your item, then customize as you like. I added extra brisket to my potato and I’m so glad I did. Did I mention it’s delicious?! The two gentlemen working behind the counter were friendly and the dining area was clean. While I was there a young lady w/2 small children came in. The cashier went above and beyond by helping her carry the meals to the table. I highly recommend this place. It’s hard to get really good food that will fill you up for a decent price but at $10-$20 for just about everything on the menu you get your money’s worth here!“
