I went in and ordered the ribeye beef dip ($14.25) and it was absolutely delicious! No noticeable gristle or fat. For an extra dollar I upgraded to sweet potato fries which were good, just not crispy. I saw the potato tots and they looked great as a regular free side that I will pick next time.“

He made great beer recommendations, brought a sample that he thought we would like based on our other orders and was super genuine and nice to chat with. “I just stopped in for one beer. I saw it on their online menu and wanted to try it. "This Guy Fishes." My favorite beers are Doppelbock, and I've never heard of a "Helles" (light) colored Doppelbock. It is very good. I'm glad that I stopped in.“

“Normally I will only eat at the hotel restaurant if I need something quick. I ate here a few nights during my stay. Will who worked the bar was amazing. He was tentative, joyful and talked to everyone. He created a great atmosphere. I ordered a burger my first day. It was juicy and flavorful and the fried were perfection. Today I ordered a chicken quesadilla and I didnt expect much but OMG it was so flavorful, a kick of spice and so cheesy. I will likely order another one before my trip is up. If you are staying at the Sheraton in Madison I recommend checking out the Hub and hanging out at the bar for a while. It's just a nice vibe and food is really good. Complements to the chef.“

The dinner he ordered wasn't the one that showed up but the waitress, Lindsey B went out of her way to make sure it was replaced with what he did order. She was extremely good at her job. The replacement steak was superb!The ambience is very nice. We were surprised a bit at the quality of chairs at the tables, of all things. Very rickety and worn. We had to swap out our chairs with others at nearby tables to find two that either didn't sway badly or didn't have such a divot in the cente, making it uncomfortable to sit at. Time to upgrade to better chairs, Bonfyre!We'll be back for sure.“
