Small restaurant right off the freeway. The service was fantastic and the food was pretty good. I would like to come back and try something new. Definitely feels like you're in El Salvador though! They did not have many of the beers listed just fyi.
El Salvador is a hidden gem in the Milwaukee area. If you want authentic Salvadorian food this is your spot. The place is small and cozy, the staff is always friendly. The pupusas are delicious they are served with curtido and salsa salvadoreña. My favorite are pupusas de queso, asada or the chicharrón ones. I love to enjoy my pupusas with an ensalada de frutas (mixed fruit drink) I definitely recommend this spot you won't be disappointed.
