The place obviously needs a revival and honestly it's not worth going the the atmosphere sucked and the service was horrible and behind the bar there was insects in the drinks and to top it off the place just looks run down on the inside would not recommend anyone to go there Beware of that place....

The worst bar I ever been to there were bugs in the liquor bottles and the service there was horrible would not recommend anyone to go there

Weather ruined my outdoor plans today in IL when the 10 day forecast said 40 % chance of rain in the evening so my out of town trip was cut short because it was pouring at 9am and the weather radar showed it would be around until 3pm, he gone. After a nice nap for all my useless driving I still wanted to do something because it was early so I decided to stop here for a couple drinks and salvage my day. The place is a complete dive bar which I have no problem with because I can do dive to elegant and everything in between. The bartender and locals are very friendly and not clicky at all and welcoming to outsiders. I have a regular bar but I think I will be back in the future and hang out a bit. Meeting good down to earth people is always refreshing vs toxic people, it's a judgment free zone was my impression which is very nice.
