It's like someone's house with a liquor license. When you walk in, everyone stops and stares like you just took part in a home invasion. It's kinda funny to be honest. The place smells like a mix of an elks lodge and a funeral home with past water damage, which adds to it charm. However, the drinks are cheap, they have an internet jukebox (that I think is just for display since it's quiet as a church in the place) and the gambling machines reminded me of playing the first atari video game console. So, if you wanna step back in time and make it an early night of drinking, try this place. It's an experience for sure, It's west allis personified.

I have driven past this pace for years so I decided to stop by and get a my gin Rickey after driving past so I stopped. It's a small neighborhood bar with locals and not very diverse bar wise because the selection was very limited looking at the bar. I ordered my gin Rickey and the bar chuckled when the bartender didn't know what it was and I was told that I'm in the wrong place because cocktails are not the norm and they didn't have the ingredients to make my drink and it's a simple beer and shot bar. Cool enough and I get that so I left but I'm still going to leave the average review and give you the low down, I'm not a beer and shot guy but the place seemed friendly enough while schooling me in a friendly way, I'm not going to knock them but it had a nice neighborhood vibe with friendly people.

Best corner dive, where everyone knows everyone, or they will know soon.
$2.25 for a pint of PBR in very friendly surroundings

I've tried this place a couple times because it's walking distance from my house. Bartenders have always been nice and their prices are cheap. However they have the smallest drink selection of any bar I've been to and some of their regulars hold extremely conservative values (not something I want to be around, especially while drinking).

Cozy place. Friendly staff.
The Hansen Family
It was unbelievably hot and humid in there. The Brandy Old fashioned sweet was terrible. I ordered 2 up front. Left right after. Went to Flappers. Much nicer there and amazing old fashionds as always.
Karen is the best!
