My sister lives near Hanke's and has been nagging us to check them out. We decided to head in for the Brewers game and found a classic time-capsule Stallis townie tavern. The average age of the patrons seems to be 50+ and everyone seems to be a regular. You'll definitely get the once over when you walk in, but not in an unfriendly way. Like stepping into my grandpa's basement - wood paneling, old beer signs. Cozy little bar with nice folks and reasonable prices. Had a great time here with friends and had nice conversations with the bartender and a few of the regulars.
