“Great bar & great place to eat. They were slammed right after we got there, those lady's worked their butts off. Had a great meal and watched them make a ton of pizzas to go. Really cool bar in an old building downtown. Nice atmosphere, will definitely come here again if I'm in Mineral Point.“

“I first must say that I have dined here at least 6 times in the past 30 or more years, and I live more than 3 hours away. I love Mineral Point and I love the Red Roster Cafe. The building used to be a bank back in the 1800s, I believe it is still the original ornate tin ceiling. This time my wife and I were doing the Fall Art Tour in the area. We arrived at the Red Rooster about 11:45 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Sat at the counter, tables all filled. Of course the main idea was to have a pasty. This is a great place! Everything nice one could say about a small town cafe, this place has it. Very cozy, reasonable prices, very friendly service, prompt service, great ambiance, cool vibe and excellent food. It's all here. My wife and I both had a pasty, the individual, not the pie cut one. They are large and very filling. Ask for gravy with it, that's the best way to eat one. The pasty also comes with rolls and a Tuna Mac Salad for under $11. Coffee here is also excellent, bottomless cup. We shared a dessert of Bread Pudding, they make it great here, the best Bread Pudding as well. Thank you to all the staff here for a wonderful lunch!!“

“It's weird that everyone labels things as a dive bar these days. Where I grew up in the U.P., we just call this our local bar. The key is the Blatz sign out front. Sometimes it's called Mitch's. Sometimes it's called Flannigan's. This one is called Jeffrey's. It's where the town comes to hang out and connect over a few drinks and laughs. They didn't decorate it for YOU. They didn't import some vibe or look. They're not trying to score your review. They're just awesome real people. I appreciate Joel the bartender for making us feel welcome right away. There's always some skepticism when out-of-towners come to your local digs because they might come in with attitude or be upset that there isn't a drink choice or food for them. My wife and I had an excellent time here. We would have stayed longer, but we were on an Anniversary and such.......so, yeah. Thanks Jeffreys. We'll be back.“

“Country bar, the meat is locally sourced was good for bar food. Burger was a bit small. The service was great. The waitress treated us like locals and even tried to include us in a meat raffle and fundraiser that was going on while we were there. The only thing that could make that place better is homemade ranch. Pretty cheap to make but it's better than sourced pre-made. Will for sure visit again when we are up that way.“

“Nice little place on the corner in town. Simple menu with enough options for most. Atmosphere is relaxed and the setup is pretty simple. Basic metal tables and chairs, but still comfy. Decent beer selection as well. Not sure if it’s handicap accessible, I recall there being a front step and no ramp. Lots of places in town are closed Sundays, that’s not to say Dino’s is a “take it or leave it” option, it was worth coming into!“
