“We met friends who were from out of town for lunch at Buck & Honey's on Sunday. They had never been there, so with my wife and me having been there before and very much impressed, we suggested it. What an incredible atmosphere, superb food quality and service that is so rare these days. We sure had a very memorable time and dining experience and will be coming back again very soon. Our guests could not stop raving about this place also. A shot out to our waitress Aliyah for such an outstanding job taking care of us. You sure are excellent at what you do and we thank you sincerely!”

“Never a bad experience here. Absolutely wonderful staff - top notch. Great service - and super super quick! Delicious cocktails and the best, best, BEST Chipotle Southwest Salad. It’s my current hyper-fixation meal but from time to time, I like to spice it up with the delicious Steak Tacos and Poke Bowl! A lot of great menus items ranging from their signature dishes to seasonal dishes. Me and my boyfriend always say we should try new places, but can’t resist not coming here!”

“Excellent service! Delicious food! Four of us celebrated my birthday here last night and enjoyed every single detail. The calamari and arancini appetizers were flavorful and breaded perfectly. One person had a Caesar salad, he said it was perfect. For our courses, my husband devoured his Cappellaci All Aragosta, but not before sharing a bite with each of us, and it was soooooo good. I had the Spaghetti Al Funghetto and absolutely loved it. Mom and dad also enjoyed their pasta dishes very much. Our desserts were crème brûlée, cannoli, and tiramisu. All made in house and all delicious. Then the service. The staff took very good care of us. Our waiter happened to be one of the owners, Sergio. We were lucky to hear about his history of working in the restaurant industry in Madison for years at restaurants we had known, now running his own! He was so passionate and interactive about the menu, it was so fun! By the end of our meal, my husband and I already had our next date set for another dinner at Fratelli’s. And in Madison, with so many options to try, we don’t revisit many places often, but Fratelli’s is going to the top of our list.”

“We are spoiled for good choices for coffee shops on the east side of Madison now, and Ancora adds another excellent option. We have been several times since they opened, both eating in and the drive through. Workers have always been friendly and efficient, the coffee and food options are several cuts above the big chain coffee shops (they have one of the better breakfast burritos around), and the seating is well lit by giant windows and always clean. The drive through only has room for a few cars, so it fills up easily, but they do a good job of moving customers through it. The pricing is a little more expensive than at national chains, but you are getting what you pay for and more in terms of quality.”

“Noel, the manager, always takes great care of us. We've become regulars at the Monona Denny's, mornings and the odd breakfast late at night as well. Noel recognizes us, is warm, and always keeps the coffee pouring before we ever see the bottoms of our mugs. The entire team works like a well oiled machine, and they really put so much effort and pride into their work. It's what keeps us coming back, even more than the food itself!”

“Great authentic Mexican food. I had the steak fajitas burrito. It was delicious and huge. I also had a couple margaritas and they were excellent. We had a family of four, all adult meals, and some margaritas and price was better than expected for the size and quality of the meals and drinks.”

“I’ve never been in a Taco John’s. I’m glad this was my first experience. It’s been a long time since I’ve had fast food, but I was running errands and figured why not? “Great food. Quick and consistent. Very friendly staff. Only gripe is inside pick up is a little awkward. They face all the bags with the receipts facing away from the customer. If they are busy at the register you have to turn around all of the bags to find which one has the receipt with your name on it. Suggestion would be to turn towards customer and highlight name on receipt. Other than that this place is really nice.”

“Great little bar. Get the Reuben! We are Reuben snobs and try them every place we go and theirs is in our top 3!!!! Corned beef is cooked in house and is simply amazing. Tender, sliced thick and very lean! Friendly and attentive service with reasonable prices, especially from what we saw at other places we visited in the area. Great pours of ice cold Miller Lite sealed the deal. Highly recommend a stop for lunch if you're in the area! Will be back, the next time we are in town from Chicago!”
