We always visit for happy hour. We get the same bartender/waitress every time. She is AMAZING. The ambience is great, the renovations have improved the experience a lot! And the food, as always, was divine. Can't wait to go back!

We had too many people with us in the bar area. So, THEY had us move to the dining area. So, now that we were in the dining area, we could no longer get the bar specials. WTF...we got the manager, and he explained that "they have different cash registers" so it can't be rung up in the back.we explained that we would go to the bar to pay, as that's where we were originally. He said that was not possible. We won't be back

Enjoyed flavorful chicken fajita with great tomatoes and onions. Slight extra seasoning, but okay. Delicious rice and beans. Salsa on the side had a nice spice. The molcajete is excellent, serving very hot. Plan accordingly. Service was great! the atmosphere was pleasant!

Usually food is good here, but a friend and I both ordered the blackened sea bass tacos, and they were unusually fishy tasting, and they should be mild tasting. So, I'm not sure if it was old fish or wasn't sea bass at all. Another friend said the Lucky Lake fish tacos (cod) were very good.

I love Jose's. I typically get the same order every time with the flautas appetizer and side of rice. The hot salsa is really good. I recommend asking for that over the normal salsa. The rice is just OK. Lacks some flavor but no worries. Service is hit or miss. Typically pretty fast but they can forget little details at times. Still worth it to go. They have amazing guac that they make in front of you. Recommend that too.
