“Stopped here for a snack while out on a motorcycle ride and so glad I did! I had the raw carrot cake with cashew frosting and the plantonic coffee. Both were excellent! Healthy and filling. Not much space to sit inside but it was a beautiful day and enjoyed the outside table. I’ll be back!”

“Mother's Day may not look like much on the outside, and is a bit outdated on the inside, but the breakfast here is fantastic. We stopped here mid-November of 2023 on our way back from the Dells in search of a diner that served home-style meals. Mother's Day did exactly that with quick and friendly service. My husband's traditional breakfast of eggs, hash browns, toast and bacon was served hot and delicious, and my biscuits and gravy were just what I needed after spending a weekend of indulging. The biscuits were soft, the gravy creamy and savory, the hash browns and bacon crispy and the eggs nice and fluffy.There are a lot of breakfast options here, and I don't see where you could wrong with any of them. No nonsense, no frills, just a good home cooked meal to get your day started right.”

“I met an old friend at Perc's for lunch. During the week and there was plenty of room to just drop in. The menu is big, the service was fast. We never had to flag anyone for water or coffee in fact I had to stop the refills and I like coffee! We'll be back because it's hard to imagine ever getting unfavorable service they were just so well buttoned up”

“Didn't know it was carryout only, but we came from Beaver Dam, and wanted to try it anyway. We were not disappointed! I have to say that this was one of the most delicious meals I've had in a long time. I got the chicken with green beans, and it was simple (in a good way), fresh, and very tasty. So many times I've ordered Chinese dishes elsewhere, and they have a lot of "filler" ingredients and veggies that weren't on the menu. That's not the case here. It was just fresh tasting green beans, delicious tender chicken, and a yummy mildly spicy sauce. Simple and perfect. My partner also liked what he ordered (Kung Pow), and I think their egg rolls are some of the best I've had, as well. This little place is an unassuming hidden gem, and Horicon is lucky to have a restaurant like this!”

“We stopped in here for a drink on the way home from the races at Slinger Speedway last Sunday night. The Rubicon Oasis is a NICE small town bar. Remodeled fairly recently, with an adequate beer selection (they had hard cider on tap when we were there). Pizza is available if you're hungry. They DO NOT take charge cards BUT there is an ATM right in the bar.”
