This is a great local bar and a classic wisconsin dive bar, in the best way. Lots of regulars and bartenders who have worked there for years. Everyone is very welcoming and chatty. No food beyond frozen pizza and popcorn but a well stocked bar and cheap prices. Cozy too with clean bathrooms and a nice back porch to sit out in summer. Pool table too and dog friendly!
Good place on the west side of town. Beer selection is pretty decent for an urban dive bar. Prices are good and the staff is very friendly. You could do much worse for National Ave bars then this place.
