BUT...septic system has issues I almost walked out when we walked in the smell is bad... was even more potent when I went into the men's bathroom... don't let a septic/plumbing issue destroy your amazing business!

I used to love going two River City especially for their swedish pancakes and bacon when we walked into the restaurant it was very smelly when we sat down it was like okay is a waiter going to come he came brought us water and drinks and then he said I'll be right back in 10 minutes later after he got done on his phone he came back to take our order our order came it looked terrible the swedish pancakes were burnt the bacon was very greasy tried to talk to the owner and she just trying to ignore us all over a very bad experience where are the coffee was kept the coffee pot was filthy where they kept the coffee mugs that was filthy it's not the place I used to go to and I love to go on there it's sad

Stopped for breakfast-service was good, food was OK, prices were ridiculous. 2 omelets, 2 glasses oj, 2 orders hash browns and 1 cup coffee. Bill came to a little over $50. Crazy price for breakfast for 2 people. And the prices on the bill were more than what the menu stated. Will not be going back!

Took an out of town visitor for breakfast. Food was terrible. The bacon in the stuffed hash browns was reheated and very tough and chewy. It came with one slice of bread that was reheated and also too tough to chew. The other breakfast sandwich was on a too small muffin for the size of the egg and ham with hardly any bottom to the muffin. The extra order of hashbrowns was only about 4 tablespoons in size. And worst of all, very overpriced. I don’t feel that I will ever return to try any other food on the menu.

The food was fantastic. Our server was fantastic. The female waitress was being rude and demanding of other servers to tend the table. She was pushing most of the work/tables to the other waiter. I'm not one to complain usually but I found it unfair to him. I could see he was overwhelmed and it didn't help that she kept reminding of him the tables that haven't been attended to when she wasnt doing anything at that point.

My husband and I decided we wanted to try some place we never had before and we were both extremely pleased. Service we fast, very kind people, and there wasn’t a single thing that we were served that disappointed us. What ever these owners are doing they are doing it right. First place I’ve ever been to where I asked to speak to the owners. Beyond happy that I was able to personally compliment that couple. I’d also like to point out that I’m a very picky eater and no matter where I go there is always something that was “not made right” everything was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend!! Definitely will be going back!

My Haddock was awesome!!!!!! To bad the rest of my opinion is a BIG NEGATIVE!!!!!!! The rest of my order was cold and my fish order was missing the baked beans, cole slaw, and cottage cheese. It honestly breaks my heart to state for the record that I'm glad I left this work place. Staff is honestly disorganized. Wait time is sad. I highly recommend that unless you want to waste your time double checking their work, go elsewhere. Spare yourself the headache.

This Pie is insanely good, it's award winning and a ton of different flavors as well as a great menu of "diner" classics. I had the liver and onions with some warm raspberry pie ala mode, everything was great and xcellent service! Super affordable and right off of 41, worth the detour!

BBQ was great! The Mac and Cheese is made in-house and a perfect pair for the brisket and Pork Belly. They also have a great selection of pies/desserts. Can't wait to have a bit of BBQ with my breakfast next time!

Had the country fried steak and eggs with Texas toast and hash browns. The steak and eggs were great, gravy could use sausage or bacon with the brisket. Toast was good. The hash browns were half cooked if that much. No brown on them just a rubbery mess. Ask to have them cooked crisp!
