“Small Town bakery that nails it "old school"! Nothing off a good connoisseur magazine here, just darn good baked goods that don't put you in the poor house! It's a friendly family operation that puts out really good bakery while treating there customers well. It has become a favorite of ours. The only issue you may find is what products they have on the day your going. We usually just wing it, but I'm sure you can always order ahead....like that apple pie waiting on my counter for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow!Wheelchair accessibility: Not really accessible. I am sure they would bring items out to you as it is a family run business.”

“We have never had a meal that we didn’t love. The owner, Sam, regularly visits customers on his rounds through the restaurant to make sure we are enjoying our meal. My favorite go-to meal is the chicken stir fry and my husband’s is the ham and cheese omelet. We also love that the restaurant has extended into the supper hour for those of us that work until 5 during the week. All around 5-star service and food!”

“Went on a Friday night for fish fry and it was pretty good. Nothing over the top, or anything that will blow you away, but its better than some of these other local family restaurants thats for sure. They have a decent selection on their menu, and the wait for anything take out is pretty quick if you choose to grab something on the go. I have stopped in about 5 times since I learned about the place and i haven't been disappointed with any of the food i ordered. My hats off to the owner as he's normally the only one cooking, at least he has been the only one cooking every time iv stopped in, usually Friday's for fish fry. He definitely has a passion for cooking and that’s something you don't see often with restaurant chefs anymore. He will personally come to your table to greet himself and to ask how your food is to your liking! Thats the passion im talking about, and he seems to really care about his customers. Iv seem so many restaurants come and go over the past 20 years in that location because they just dont make enough to keep in running. If anyone deserves a successful business to stay open it would be the current owner as he’s a great example of how a business should operate and interact in a smaller town. Every customer is so crucial to his success and the effort he puts in for each customer to ensure satisfaction is definitely off the charts.”

“Insane every time I go there. The cookies are decadent, fresh, huge. A whole one is a meal. I can never just leave with one or two. Highly recommend the cheesecake cookies, the key lime pie and they're traditional chocolate chip cookies. Also, the Tres Leches cake cookie was mind blowing. THE BEST!!”

“The best fresh cocktails in town! We've loved going to Urbane for their pear mojitos and food options, so we took our bridal party there for cocktail hour! The staff is always so professional, and make the best cocktails. Additionally, the bartenders always get creative with mocktails and they exceed expectations each time. The bar was decorated so beautifully for Christmas, it was the perfect stop for our bridal party before our reception. Thank you for having us!”

“Absolutely yes!! Staff recommended the French onion burger and it blew my mind. This is not a first date friendly burger so beware you will look like a cannibal eating it but the flavor is amazing. (I can't say that for other speedy-grub restaurants.)The "Curdside Pick-Up" (yes, that's spelled correctly) has been a great option, too - if you don't want to venture into the restaurant. My opinion is that Culver's absolutely NAILED this method through the pandemic. Other restaurants are still trying to figure out how to master this.It's said that people who come to Wisconsin and have never seen a Culver's have to try it...and for very good reason. Culver's is, hands-down, the best you can get in fast food.”

“Local bar with great food. I had the soup of the day special - a Thai Peanut soup that was absolutely delicious! Also shared a Deviled Egg Trio appetizer - 3 deviled eggs (six halves) with different toppings (BLT, Brisket, and something else I don't remember). Tasty - and different from usual appetizer options. My friend had Quesadillas, I think they were filled with brisket, which were pretty great. All the food was HOT and FRESH, something you don't always get.I believe that the menu changes often here- and the main draw (as you might guess from the name) is their assortment of beers on tap. I had one with a cherry undertone. I loved it, but my friend hated it. But he chose a different beer that he really liked. With a large menu of choices, you are sure to find something you like.You can eat at the bar or high tables - and they mentioned that there is also a dining room in back. We ate at one of the high tables in the bar and were more than comfortable. The bar has lots of cool things to look at - and I was told that it used to be a strip joint. Which explains the "No Touching the Dancers" sign that hung over the bar.I'll definitely go back. The service was great. Quick (only about 5 people in the place on the Tuesday night we went) and the bartenders and chef (who came out to say hello) were friendly. I love finding places like this. Truly a gem in a city that has lots of food choices.”
