We had a party of 9 and were out of there in less than an hour (with a full bar)! If you are in the area you'd be silly to go anywhere else!”

The outside bartender was seriously amazing. My beer was piss warm from the inside bar but nice and cold from the outside bar. I would have had a much better time if I had only gone outside and never set foot inside.”

“I assume it was the owner who took my order over the phone. Along with being the only staff I saw when I went to pick up my order today. Service was amazing! Food was ready in the exact time she stated. I had ordered the homemade Mac n cheese. (Which I feel was hidden low on the menu, but should be brought to the top as a featured item) I asked for all three topper options. Even with her lessoning the amounts of bacon and chicken, the portions were huge. The shrimp also huge. Everything was cooked perfect. Tender chicken. Medium bacon (not burnt!!!) And the shrimp all the way to the macaroni noodles also perfect! This was enough for 2+ people to eat and I only ordered it for lunch. But happy I don't have to cook dinner now!Over all everything was amazing! And priced perfect! Thank you for such a great lunch!Vegetarian options: Order the Mac n cheese with out meat. “Best fish fry in NE Wisconsin! I was hesitant to write this as I’d like to keep it a secret so it doesn’t get busier that they already are. But this place has great burgers, wings, broasted chicken & the best fish fry. Best frog legs I’ve ever had! Plus more than just fried fish with seared scallops & salmon.Kid-friendliness: The claw machine always welcome kids & they have plenty of menu options.”

“This is the perfect hunting and fishing dive bar. It's surrounded by marsh lands and rivers. And they sell Christmas trees. So take a little drive out into the country pick out a tree for holidays, then warm up having a drink, and let the kids have some mini corn dogs, while your listening to what everyone is hunting and where. It's also a favorite spot during sturgeon spearing.”

“Nick, the owner, only has chips and pizza in terms of food, but it definitely keeps you going with no complaints. Shakers is a good old fashioned home town bar with a great friendly vibe. All of the staff are attentive and keep your glass full, if that's the direction you're going.”

The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path. That works if you are looking for good food; which the restaurant offers. We had a party of six of our table. Everyone agreed the food was very good. I had the Mile High Meatloaf. It was a great portion and was cooked perfectly. I added the salad bar for a minimal charge. It was well stocked with all the standard items and many tasty pasta salads. Several people I was dining with had the Cajun style walleye. They also received hearty portions and said it was really good. I have to tie our bar choices to our experience with our waitress. She was a young girl. She was very nice. Whoever trained her (or didn't train her) is responsible for her shortcomings. The poor girl had no idea about anything served at the bar. People at my table had to go up to the bar to look at the beers offered and to look at which liquors were available. First, the young lady should have been instructed to say, "Let me check on that". Secondly, someone could have helped her with a cheat sheet. It was an awkward 5 minutes of drink orders. Again, not her fault but failure by whoever "trained" her. Overall, the drinks were good. Another "training" failure was our waitress not returning to see if anyone needed anything or to see if another round of drinks was needed. No one to blame but management for not giving our young waitress the chance to provide exceptional service. Would I return? Indeed. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. If the manager did right by their employees, it would have been a truly great experience.”

“The best Dairy Queen experience I ever had. The young lady that took my food order did a great job, and flipped my Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Pie Blizzard upside down before setting it on the counter. The young man delivered the two double cheese burgers without pickles shortly there after to my booth. It was later at night and a little slower when I was there. When they weren't busy taking oder from the drive-through or at the counter they were cleaning and stocking the drink machine with ice. 6/5 Stars.”

“oh my golly gee these cookies are making me BUST a fat one. as you can see from my name, i am the cookie queen, and there is no establishment that makes cookies this good. i watched them make these cookies fresh, and oh my god was it heaven eating them. i am currently twinkling my toes and legitimately salivating thinking about them. the subs are pretty good too but oh my lawd them cookies”
