Food was good, service was good, the staff is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately it smells like old grease when you walk in. Your clothes will smell for hours after you leave. The bathroom needs an update. The beer selection is limited, they don't carry any IPA.
Cozy little bar, and man can they cook! I had the perch fry, and literally couldn't finish it( that's a first for me). My friend had the Haddock and was so impressed that neither the fish or Sweet potato waffle fries were the least bit greasy.The place was super clean and we are definitely going to be back! We were traveling and made it into Rhinelander a little late, around 7:45 on a Saturday night. We went to 3 other restaurants on the way before this one. 2 had their kitchens closed, and 1 was temporarily closed. We figured we would stop at Club 47 to see if they had food. Vickie fired up the grill for our party of 6 and made us all the best double cheeseburgers we've had on our trip. The bartender before her was super nice and welcoming too.
