“This place is definitely a breathe of fresh air for Rhinelander, stopped here with my daughter to play some pool and get some food, wasn't disappointed, in fact it was extremely delicious. Good daily specials and drinks, only complaint is the place is kind of small, sort of hard to place a food and drink order at the bar when it's full of people.“
“The Northwestern Hotel bar and restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Rhinelander, WI! It is like walking back in time when you open the front door. They still serve the best sandwiches and homemade soups in town, and the prices are very reasonable.It is definitely worth the visit.“
“One of the best burgers in the area. The steak sandwich is also great, cooked, like the burger to order. (Make sure to get their fries! A real treat.) Because of difficulty finding staff to work, they have had to recently restrict their days of being open to Wednesday & Friday. Even with that limitation, it is worth planning around their schedule. This is NOT a saloon; it is a 5th generation, family owned, family friendly, bar & grill. The tap beer choices are great & are certain to please any thirsty beer drinkers. “This is a redemption visit after a not so great one in August. Tuesday night we came with another couple and had a very good meal. All of us had burgers and they were very good, my husband said it was the best he's ever had. Food came very fast, but it wasn't busy at this time yet either. So we had a nice meal and listened to the Bingo game going on in the bar! I would like to see if a beer list can be printed and available to look at while ordering, the waitress told us we could go look at the list at the bar. which we didn't do.“
