Was a great fish fry, cold beer good food, local haunt mostly oldsters, get there early no problems getting a seat as there the menapause group are at home slamming old fashions before they get there! Buuurp!UpdateDefinitely clean and neat our go to!
I'm rating On the House a 5 strictly based on their FOOD only! 5 of us had their perch dinner, which was excellent! Choice of 2- or 3-piece perch filets, crinkle cut fries or "potato pancakes" which were hash brown patties and to-die-for! Great-tasting coleslaw, 2 slices of buttered rye bread and a chocolate mini muffin cake topped off the meal. 1 had a delicious hamburger. We had two other places picked for a Friday fish fry. No where to park. Driving down the street we say the Friday Fish Fry sign hanging and went in. We were extremely happy we did. Excellent pearch (sp?) dinner with a small brownie for dessert! It's a small cornerbar with only two people (owners?) working and they ran their butts off! Excellent food, good drinks...we'll be back!
