“We've been going here for years, even when they used to be across the street. There's a lot on standards on the menu; it's in need of some new options!Vegetarian options: There should be more vegan options, very, very limited to vegans this day and age and location.“
“Our first time at the restaurant. The food was very good and our server was great. It was obvious that many regulars came into the restaurant because the waitress knew everyone and was very personable with them.Fridays, they have smelt. We will certainly be back to try that!“
“Small, quaint place downtown - able to park on street. Well run establishments- one server out front and she rocked it. Tables for 2 or four- and counter service. Solid breakfast- eggs cooked just as ordered- no complaints. Love a runny egg- and dip their homemade toast in it- yum! Mexican scramble was tasty - chorizo not greasy. Hash browns were nicely crisp on outside- and plump inside. Nice portions- in our minds. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars- I would. (And you might run into UWSP hockey players at breakfast!)“
“While traveling, my wife and I were looking for a nice local place to eat breakfast. Located at the end of a strip mall and marked by a simple sign, Franny's Family Restaurant isn't a lot to look at from the outside. I'm happy to report, however, that there is a lot more than meets the eye. The inside had a relaxed and positive vibe, and we could immediately see that the restaurant was filled with happy regulars. Our server was friendly and prompt, and the portions were big and delicious. Our experience was fantastic, and if we are ever driving this way again, we will be back!“
“I went there for a fish fry by myself. I am single and that happens at times.It did bother me that when I was asked if I would like a table or a booth. And my answer was a booth the hostess made a disappointing face towards me. And then put me in the corner. Which was ok, but yet made me feel like I was being punished for asking for a booth. The place was super quiet. It was right at 4 p.m. So it was not like I was taking a booth from a bigger group of people.I will go back again because the food is always good. And the service is always good.And yes I did leave a good tip for the very nice waitress.“
“They have a happy and welcoming atmosphere. Charming and friendly staff. The food will make your taste buds thank you! Especially the banana walnut pancakes! The location is in the heart of some adorable shops & gallery's. So once you fill up on the amazing food, you can walk it off exploring & site seeing.I promise I'll be going back there as soon as I can. I HAVE to try more of the delicious dishes!I highly recommend checking it out!“
