South Point Restaurant

***I am so glad South Point came back after being closed for a while a few years ago. I love the good old fashioned home cooking. Pork hocks, sauerkraut, and real potatos is my favorite. I love the chicken dumpling soup. The pies are the greatest! By that time I am glad I have my Tupperware with for taking along my pie!
A very worthwhile drive from Waupaca!

I had the blueberry pancakes and I have never seen that many blueberries in pancakes before. They were huge pancakes. I recommend getting 2 because they are huge, 3 if you are really hungry. My husband had the chili and the club sandwich. Everything was delicious. Thank you!!

Passing through on vacation, we stopped at South Point restaurant. It has an old diner feel, and we enjoyed watching the locals conversing back and forth, and waitresses shouting, " I love you, see you tomorrow!" and calling everyone by name. We did not have to wait long for our food. We got the Friday fish fry. The generous portions were fresh, hot, and delicious. We were invited to come back next time we were just passing through. We totally recommend this place!
