Restaurantji's Stoughton guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“La Cantina is hands down, my favorite Mexican restaurant!! The food and drinks are all amazing, staff is professional and friendly, and the prices are super reasonable. I definitely recommend giving La Cantina a try to anyone who hasn't been there yet. You won't be disappointed!“
“Workers are doing everything they can. They were pleasant and got the food out as fast as they could with 3 people in a restaurant that really should have 6 workers. So it's hard to see their full potential when they are short staffed.“
“Our family affectionately calls Palenque "Chips and Salsa" since they have the absolute best. Our 10 year-old always needs his own dish of salsa, it's that good. The grown ups have our go-tos of molcajete and fajitas fundida. We happily drive from the west side of Madison to enjoy their food.“
“Great food for a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean. We've dined in several times and ordered pick up and we're never disappointed! We've gotten fajitas, tostaguacs, tamales, fish tacos, chalupas, tacos for Taco Tuesday...everything is great!“
“First time trying taco John's. Ive always have been a fan of taco bells since the late 70's. and really never tried any competing fast food taco places. The first thing noticed was that this place brought more spice to the party. Besides that, they are very comparable in cost, variety and overall style.I guess if I had to choose between the two, Id lean more towards taco John's due to spice.“
“Stopped back in after a few years - still as good as ever! Great customer service, delicious food, super reasonable pricing. Will be back much sooner this time.Vegetarian options: Server was willing to customize a veg taco for me - grilled veggies and beans. So good.“
