New location is nice but a completely chaotic mess that needs some ironing out. No system for wait staff. Sat at bar and ordered drinks and chips and salsa: had to ask three more times for our order. Several takeout orders were brought out to others waiting and each was wrong and sent back. One customer had to insist on checking out because of needing to be somewhere else. Person taking our check didn't know prices of things and had to wait to ask management which took forever. These things could easily be resolved with better organization and systems. Didn't stay for food because it was anxiety-producing. It's new, I get it. Hope it does well -- with improvement.

Nice, local Mexican restaurant. Guimo's recently moved to a new location on East Main Street in Sun Prairie. We tried the Enchiladas Verdes and they were very good. Super friendly service and nicely decorated with some old brick walls displayed.

I recently visited Guimos Mexican restaurant and had an incredible experience. The margarita tree was a showstopper - not only was it visually stunning, but it was also incredibly delicious. It definitely added a fun and festive touch to our evening.And let's talk about the lengua tacos - they were hands down the best I've ever had. The meat was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the fresh toppings. Every bite was a delight.Overall, the combination of the stunning margarita tree and the mouthwatering lengua tacos made for a memorable dining experience at Guimos. I can't wait to go back and indulge in their amazing food and drinks again. The staff was also very friendly!

Food: 2/5. Tacos and fajitas were bland. Fajita toppings were minimal. Street fries cheese sauce tasted like it came from a can. Steak was fatty. Margarita was okay. Service: 2/5. I had to go up to bar twice for things i needed. Was given the wrong food. Some staff were sitting behind the bar doing nothing when we were looking for a waitress. Ambiance: 3/5. It was okay. Nothing special. Conclusion: Definitely wont be going back.

Seriously the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. I got the taco plate and tried the pollo, pastor, and asada tacos and all three were incredible. I chose to dine-in and for only $13.50 got a basket of chips and salsa with my plate of 3 tacos and rice/beans, amazing value for what you receive! 10/10 would recommend!! If you haven’t tried this place, you should.

An absolute hidden gem. You might drive right by and not even notice the place but don't let that fool you. I had some of the best steak tacos I've ever had as well as excellent homemade hot sauce. The service was incredibly fast and friendly. Plenty of food for the price. I don't live nearby but I'm going to be definitely coming here again next time I'm in the area.

This will.sum it up. YUM! The nachos were exceptional. The enchiladas suizas are mouth watering and I love the agua de piña! So, so good! I come here often and have never had any issue. The people who work here are kind, friendly and overall offer great service.
