If you want an insulting experience, this is the place for you. Almost an 8 dollar sub should have more than three see-through rancid tasting slices of meat. Two bites and it had to be thrown out. Didn't have white bread so we settled for wheat which also had a very "off" taste. Long story short, if you get your order to go, maybe look at it before you leave. Clearly, customer service is the last thing on their mind as well as a fair deal.

Placed mobile app delivery order at 4:35pm today & order was successfully placed saying 50min delivery time with estimated delivery around 5:25pm. Payment was taken & email confirmation received. No delivery was received by 6:10pm so I tried to call a few times & no answer with no voicemail set up. Never received a message in mobile app or by email advising my order was cancelled but my payment was credited back to card I paid with no explanation. If someone would have picked up when I called I would not have had to leave this review here just an FYI. I understand things can happen but this is not good business & I will have to order my sandwiches elsewhere.

Sad to say but this location has gone down hill badly lately. This week I sat at the drive through for 5 minutes without a response despite an employee going inside to tell others I was waiting. Finally went to subway instead. This has happened more than once lately. Between begging for tips at the drive thru window and horrendous service I’ve gone from near daily lunch visits to driving past and going elsewhere. Always loved Milio’s food so I’m sad to see it go this way

Went through the drive thru today 10/07/23, and ordered 4 subs - 2 #5’s Italian subs and 2 Skinny #13’s. As soon as I pulled up to the window, a young lady came to take my payment. Without saying much of anything she instantly asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I’m used to being prompted at fast food restaurants to leave a tip when paying by credit card. This was the first time though that I’ve been asked by a person in a drive thru and put on the spot like that. It caught me off guard. For several years in the past I waitressed and bartended. I know how much tips always meant to me, so I always tip pretty generously when I’m out at restaurants and bars. When prompted by the credit card machine to tip at a fast food restaurant I always tip too, but less than I would if I was at a restaurant being served by someone. Typically when you tip it’s on your food and experience. To be pushed to tip before I’ve even gotten the food or saw how the experience went is a bit crazy to me. If it’s a great experience I’ll tip more. In spite of all this I know like today these are younger kids working so I’ll always tip something. The way this young lady asked for a tip without even really saying Hi or anything caught me by surprise. I told her I’ve got cash, go ahead and run my card for the food and I’ll leave a tip in cash. I grabbed my wallet to pull out a few dollars and realized I didn’t have cash like I thought I did. I had enough change though to leave a dollar tip. So I put 4 quarters in the tip jar. I know it wasn’t much, but thought a dollar was better than nothing. It then took forever for the subs to be made. My son and I sat in the drive thru for probably close to 10 minutes at this point waiting for the sandwiches to be made. I didn’t even mind that at the time, but did think it was a bit odd it took so long when there was no one else in the drive thru line and I didn’t see anyone in the restaurant. We were the only ones there at the time, and there were 3 people working. When the girl finally brought the bag with the subs, she handed it to me and quickly looked down in the tip jar to see what I had tipped, and seemed to have an attitude. When we got home and opened up our sandwiches, the picture below shows the Italian subs. There was a couple small pieces of meat and the cheese. There were no toppings. These usually come with lettuce, tomato, onions, and oil. Nothing, just the little bit of meat and cheese. In hindsight I think this young lady and the workers heard me drop the change in the tip jar. The way the expectation of a tip was presented was actually appalling. I think these workers probably heard me drop the change in the tip jar and expected more than that. In the end, having it take as long as it did seemed like that was on purpose. Then to see the product when we got home. We just spent over $30 for a whole bunch of bread, couple small pieces of meat and cheese, and pushed with the expectation and feeling of even though I tipped, it wasn’t good enough. Milios has gotten to be pretty expensive over time. We always have liked their subs and would still be ok paying their prices knowing how expensive everything is now. After this experience though my family will definitely not return to this location and even possibly any Milios again.

I went in and requested a special make of sandwich - the folks there did a great job with my complicated request, making a sandwich that can definitely be described as one of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had! Mmmmmm! Thanks!Parking: Small parking lot - a little difficult to move a larger car thru.

Stopped during the sun prairie corn fest and even though it was extremely packed, the staff working did an amazing job handling the pressure. They were sweet and professional, all of them working super hard during the crazy rush. Kudos to them.

I love milios but they are getting disappointing today I ordered my usual number 4 with no lettuce and a pickle slice. The wrap said no lettuce but some how the entire sandwich has lettuce. Also 1 slice of deli meat. Very disappointed won't be going back anytime soon.

Ordered three basic subs, restaurant messed up and when I called said bring back the sub and we'll give you the right one. I said it will be a while because I had to return from Cottage Grove. Got there, got my sub, and didn't even get a thank you, let alone an apology. Made me feel like their mistake was my fault. Definitely need some service coaching.

Staff there on Thursday (06/08/23) were amazing, they took my order and I had it in my hands almost as soon as I paid! Sub is delicious too, if a little thin; I’ll be damn sure to order extra next time!

Update: Milio's replied to this post pretending to care. I submitted more info on my experience and have not heard anything back. Clearly it's a purely performative response as they have no actual intention of taking action or making things right.I love Milio's but this location is the absolute worst! They always complain about large orders. I'm sorry but making sandwiches is literally your job and you get paid to do it, so why are you acting angry towards your customers? After the same poor treatment several times we will never go to this location again.
