We stopped here for lunch. Quick and friendly service. Great food all made with their yummy Gouda cheese. The cheese curd appetizers were delicious! Don’t forget to check out the store. They have a few cheeses where you can get 5 “Underweight” cheese for $12 with a good variety and definitely bigger than sample size.

If you're visiting this farmstead then lunch at this cafe is a must. You're not going to find another place in Wisconsin with a full menu of dishes served with the unbelievably delicious Marieka Gouda. This is our all-time favorite cheese. It's just a unique treat. Menu isn't overwhelming. You'll be able to find something - I ordered a salad and they were able to remove the bacon for fellow vegetarians out there. We ordered two entrees and cheese curds and found out since we both ordered an entree our curds were free! The cheese curds are amazing. Make sure you go in for a pull to start and try the dipping sauce.m it's so good. They also have breakfast until 11 a.m. We visited during peak winter season in Wisconsin so it was a bit cold inside but that didn't stop us. Service was quick and friendly. Just a solid lunch experience in a unique and special place.

Don’t come here if you don’t have well over an hour to sit for a grilled cheese, because they have the slowest service of any restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Tried twice a year apart, terrible both times. Never again.

Restaurant located in cheese factory on a dairy farm. Ready access off of WI 29 in Thorp. Not a fast food place as far as speed of service. Had retail store with cheese etc for sale. Waitress was good. Kitchen slow.

The waitress forgot about one of our burgers. The service rating would be 1 star because of this but the waitress apologized profusely and was very adamant in making sure we were happy there after. Overall, I would recommend this place as I have been here several times and feel this occurrence of poor service was out of the norm.

Excellent skillet for breakfast with gouda! Definitely homemade food & friendly service. The only downfall is the menu options are minimal, and the service was slow. Definitely worth the wait though when we got our meal.
