“I cannot express in words how amazing the wings were. I have never had anything like that. It was about 17.50 for 10 so I thought that was pricey at first but when they came out I realized it wasn't. HUGE wings cooked perfectly just absolutely phenomenal. Bartender Jenny was also really nice and you could tell she had regulars and cared about them. These wings are not what you expect. We will be back and are ditching KFC. We will get the Togo chicken from Kelly's pub!“

“I've been here a few times now since the change from Touch of Class and am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. The food is great, and usually exactly what I'm wanting. The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.“

“Thank you Pizza Time! Over Christmas we had 2 birthdays and Christmas to host. For one of the days we decided on pizza. I called in advance to place our order. I gave the lady the date and time we would need the pizzas delivered. I called the morning of to make sure we were on track. The young man had the order correct and they were working on it. “We've been going to Ron and Pats for years, but their new pizza combo's are excellent. We just had the Sicillian with the thin crust extra crispy, and it's one of the best pizzas we've had there! My most recent trip with my fiancee was no exception.The servers are friendly and helpful, the food is delivered quickly (even when they are busy), the portions are huge and the quality of the food is outstanding. While I've had their pizza before and really enjoyed it, I constantly find myself drawn to the "Bootie," an Italian beef sandwich topped with mozzarella cheese. It's got enough au jus in the sandwich to make it very flavorful (though next time I'll probably ask for some extra on the side, as I love sandwiches like this extra wet).My fiancee was impressed by the salad that came with her dinner, noting that it looked and tasted like it was made fresh to order. “Fantastic food and atmosphere! The clam chowder was delicious. We shared the beer battered fried cod and the beer battered fried walleye dinners. Both were perfect with just the right amount of crunch and delicious fish. We loved it and will be back :) the bartender's service was great to boot! He even came to the table to check on us. “We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. “I called, placed my order and the Girl on the phone was friendly and accurate as to what I had ordered and she said my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I drove to my local Rosati’s in Lindenhurst Illinois 20 minutes later and picked up my piping hot thin crust, 4 topping Pizza! Everyone at the counter was friendly. I didn’t have to wait because it was ready as was promised and I was a happy camper! If you live in the neighborhood I recommend going there, you won’t be disappointed. Yummy!!!??????“

“Rookies is a good stop for a great lunch or dinner. we stopped for all you can eat Fish Friday, the Fish, fries, and coleslaw were delicious. My husband loved the wing. “Lucky Penny's is a place to gamble. A little pricey on the alcohol, shots ect.. it was nice place and had a calming atmosphere. They had pool tables next room over and ,2 dart machine in the main part with the bar and the machine to gamble. If I was in that area again might stop by. I wouldn't go out of my way. Not sure if they had food cuz we didn't order anything. I'm guessing maybe pizza.The 2 employees we encountered were very nice & friendly.“

The oven they have looks really cool for one but it perfectly softens yet crisps the fresh dough. Think of MOD pizza with fresh ingredients. “Ever since new ownership the food quality has gone down hill. Ordered a kids Mac & cheese and what was delivered was kraft out of the box. Not what you expect from a nice restaurant. The chicken sandwich was one small chicken finger. We go there about 2 times a month but it was with the old owner. Also saw bioengineer food packaging on the Oster crackers (sysco food product). I know it's hard to find food not made with chemicals but we try and best to not eat it. The service there is great though!! Best service ever!!!“

“I've never ever been there before. Went with a friend for dinner. We ordered the double-decker pizza. I also have never had one of those. That was kind of fun. It was like pizza with pizza on top. It was something interesting to try a fun experience. Cute place. nice friendly people. You get peanuts to start that was kind of fun so if you have a peanut allergy I don't recommend going there. The food was fresh , very tasty and presented very well. I think we were all actually suprised just how much we liked it , it was that good!!!. The salad was one of the best I've ever had , and they offer small and large options for them which is great. The soup was so flavorful and filled with chicken. My husbands wrap was delicious, and the fries were very good as well. We decided to try there banana bread pudding to go and we enjoyed it very much even after warming it up later!! “I've been trying to find a decent NY Style pizza slice since forever. I'm usually a tavern square cut thin guy but over time I've become an NY Style guy. I've finally found the spot that us more than decent, CORNICIONES! Chicken Parm was exceptional. Also got ice cream for the kids and a Snicker Cheesecake for myself. This place is so good.
