“It was a busy night tonight for sure. I waited two hours plus for my food to be delivered and it came cold and missing items. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. Long story short they made the order again and delivered the food a second time. I appreciate the the staff and their understanding. Thank you for your great service and food!“

“We stopped in to get a pizza and didn't realize it was take out only (whoops)!!! We went in and ordered our pizza. It smelled SO GOOD inside and the people working there were VERY polite!We ran some errands and returned to pick up our food!On my pizza, I got: Cheese, Sausage, Caramelized Onions, Garlic and Tomato. My girlfriend got a 1/2 Hawaiian, 1/2 Pepperoni.We went back after running errands and the guy ran out our pizzas in the POURING RAIN! I really like pizza and this place is Super good! “Fantastic food and atmosphere! The clam chowder was delicious. We shared the beer battered fried cod and the beer battered fried walleye dinners. Both were perfect with just the right amount of crunch and delicious fish. We loved it and will be back :) the bartender's service was great to boot! He even came to the table to check on us. “We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. It was about 17.50 for 10 so I thought that was pricey at first but when they came out I realized it wasn't. HUGE wings cooked perfectly just absolutely phenomenal. Bartender Jenny was also really nice and you could tell she had regulars and cared about them. These wings are not what you expect. We will be back and are ditching KFC. “Service is on point. Very friendly people there. The set up of the bar is awesome. The food was good and the portion sizes were perfect. My mini corn dogs were a little dark. Maybe I caught them in need to change the oil day. Prices are typical prices for a bar. Just really amazed how well that bar is taken care of inside.“

“I've been here a few times now since the change from Touch of Class and am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. The food is great, and usually exactly what I'm wanting. The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.“

“Thank you Pizza Time! Over Christmas we had 2 birthdays and Christmas to host. For one of the days we decided on pizza. I called in advance to place our order. I gave the lady the date and time we would need the pizzas delivered. I called the morning of to make sure we were on track. The young man had the order correct and they were working on it. “Lucky Penny's is a place to gamble. A little pricey on the alcohol, shots ect.. it was nice place and had a calming atmosphere. They had pool tables next room over and ,2 dart machine in the main part with the bar and the machine to gamble. If I was in that area again might stop by. I wouldn't go out of my way. Not sure if they had food cuz we didn't order anything. I'm guessing maybe pizza.The 2 employees we encountered were very nice & friendly.“

The oven they have looks really cool for one but it perfectly softens yet crisps the fresh dough. Think of MOD pizza with fresh ingredients. It was a delightful change from my standard sausage and mushroom. “Went to a Sip n Paint party here. Arrived early to grab a bite. Good food, it's off season right now so wasn't to busy other than for painting. It's a large place which is needed in the summer, it's popular and has a shuttle boat to take you to their lake bar which is always a good time.“
