“Hands down my favorite ice cream shop in the world. I’d go here all the time as a kid. I now live in Austin, TX, and they have some decent ice cream and custard here - but nothing compares to this. Maybe I’m feeling nostalgic, but I definitely miss summer nights at “The Big Cow”!“
“A truly wonderful "blast from the past"! The hands on, on premise making, of most of the offerings, makes this a rare gem find. The ice cream shop is almost entirely original from the early 1900's. The candies, ice cream, toppings...are what will keep you returning to living museum. All treats, no tricks:)“
“A very cute coffee shop. I've only visited a few other times over the years, mostly during the holiday parade to get hot apple cider. I recently went with my daughter and will be back. A bit of a wait in line but that's to be expected, less of a line than the chain coffee shop across town. Everything is made to order. My drink was pretty delicious ?“
“I am very particular about my coffee. I drink a lot of coffee and was a trucker, drank coffee from different places though out the country. Everyone always gives raves about all the coffee shops but drink it with cream, sugar and other stuff and don't know the difference of good nor bad cup. I drink it black. Her coffee does not taste like a burnt couch like the rest of the shops. And at $2.75 for a medium cup is well worth it! Starbucks can learn things from this little coffee shop! Outstanding business!“

He was helpful to get us a bag for leftovers and even took our tray for us.Glenn is a great example of why I love Midwest people, Wisconsin and Culvers. “The experience was nothing like I had ever had. The gentleman was so kind and attentive the second we came in the door. Amazing black Cheryl cheesecake ice cream. My husband loved the pistachio Gelato. My son loved the mint chocolate chip ice cream. My daughter also loved the cute handmade dark chocolate spoons. Very clean and welcoming. Great atmosphere.“
