“I love my fish sandwich and my $35.?? Other food. But the place needs to take time to wash afterward. Picking up trash from the floor ? had to be asked to do even that and still didn't . Ask about putting a wet sigh by water on the floor. My granddaughter did move a sigh for it she is only 6 years old. Food was not that warm.Kid-friendliness: Awesome, my grandchildren love your food. All four will eat their food. At home, they don't seem to eat as much. go Figure!“
“Stopped here during a road trip with my son in 2022. Wanted my son to experience having an old fashioned style burger. Bud Williams delivered! When you walk in, it definitely had the feel of stepping into an old soda shop from the 50's. From the fixed stools at the counter, to the old solid booths and tables. The aesthetics were exactly what I was lookin for! The burgers, fries and shakes were excellent and so fresh! However, I wasn't very pleased about the a la carte menu. They did have a written special for a burger, fries and coke but we wanted shakes and our waiter was clear about no substitutions. So, we had to order a la carte. Walked out spending only about $20 plus a tip but we didn't really leave physically satisfied. We both could've eaten more. So, the prices were just fine but the portions could've been bigger. When you order a double cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake, you expect to get a big burger, a basket of fries and a shake that fills the malt tin. The burgers were quite small. Even my double was gone in 4 bites. Was about the same size as a McD's double cheese. The fries came in a tiny basket. Maybe 20-25 fries tops. Also, about the size of a small order for McD's. The shakes weren't much bigger. Was hoping to get more for my buck but it's not the 1950's! Needless to say, we had to eat again in the next town but we were very satisfied with quality and taste of the food! If you visit here and you're hungry, order everything large and order 2 doubles! Please patronize this business!“
“The food was great! The service was fine and it was even nicer that they come to your table to take your order (you press a button at the table when you're ready to order). The price wasn't bad either. The only issue I had was the temperature. They had the AC set to make it uncomfortably cold.“
“This place is a gem ! I grew up in Manitowoc and it’s always lacked variety of non chain, unique places that stood out. While in town, I met my lifelong best friend here based on her recommendation. I can genuinely say I was shocked when I came in. The place looks very crisp, clean and inviting. It just doesnt look like what I was expecting to find in Manitowoc and I’m thrilled that it’s here. I don’t get back this way too often but I can say i look forward to getting back here. I myself had the bacon wrapped cheese curds (absolutely brilliant) and Mac and Cheese with crispy chicken (also great) Good service as well and reasonable prices.To the owner, from someone in the restaurant industry, you’ve done a great job and should be very proud……WELL DONE !!!“
“We had such a great experience at Culvers tonight! An employee, Glenn, stopped by to ask how everything was and we had the nicest conversation. He was helpful to get us a bag for leftovers and even took our tray for us.Glenn is a great example of why I love Midwest people, Wisconsin and Culvers. “Late's has the best malts in town. They also have really good cheese curds too. The only downfall is they only accept cash. They do have an ATM stationed outside in the vestibule but we do not go there as often because its an inconvenience.“
“Many places I go lately I see employees who don't smile, don't engage with their customers, and appear as if they don't really want to be there. I enjoyed watching the employees here tonight. They talked to each other, made little comments to each other as they pass by each other and laugh, yet were attentive to the customers. We had a great service, they all seem to work together, making sure the food was hot and making sure another beverage was at the table just as the last one ran out. It made my evening more enjoyable and brought back times when people work would work hard, have fun, and support each other. Thanks for the experience. Keep up the good work!“
“The food is fantastic, probably the best sandwiches we've had in Two Rivers. Atmosphere is cramped and with a door to the gas station, and you're mostly eating near people waiting for takeout. But if it's warm enough, eat at the table outside or grab takeout to head to the park or beach (or home, I guess). Locals love this place, and it's easy to see why.“
