We went in late - 5 minutes before closing - and once we realized this, we offered to leave on our own accord, but the server insisted that it wasn't a hassle.Service was prompt and our salads came out quickly. The bread they serve with the salad round is warm and delicious. One ordered the "Creole Mac Attack" that was excellent, and another ordered the Great Lakes Parmesan Whitefish that was also very, very flavorful. The broccoli-stuffed chicken was good, but it was absolutely drowning in sauce. It wasn't off putting, as I ate it all, but it just seemed a bit much. The menu is a little thin on offerings, and the decor is a little dated, but the views make up for it - with big windows and views of the lake from just about anywhere in the restaurant. We will be back!

It was expensive for portion size. Tasted good but was typical of any family restaurant just a bit more pricy and less food. Love the view of the Lake.

The food was ok but not for what they charged for it. The view was nice and the staff was friendly. Found two hairs in my food when they brought it to me. Fish was a little overcooked but not the worst I've had. I've been told they have better breakfast dishes.

First I'm going to say that the restaurant looks beautiful and the service was great. There's also a great view of the lake. However please don't order the salmon cakes. I just spent all night having food poisoning. I don't know if they pre-shred the salmon and simply weren't keeping it correctly or what. But I do know that it had to be the food. However my husband did order a steak and so far is fine.

Stopped there for Friday Fish fry. Clam chowder and fish fry platter were really tasty! Service was excellent, friendly, prompt, and not overbearing. Excellent!!

Ate breakfast here when staying at the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and the fried eggs were cooked perfectly, which in a busy restaurant isn’t always the case. The wait was a bit long on a Sunday morning, but the views are extraordinary.

Went here on a whim because I hear the views were great. I had Kathy as a waiter and she was the rudest old lady server I have ever had in my entire life. I felt like she was rushing me out the door before I had even gotten my food. She was very snobby and not a good waitress at all. She was so bad that I almost got up and left. I ordered eggs benedict and it was simply "ok". It needs something more flavor like smoked paprika, or green onions as garnish. I got a stone, like an actual small stone in my hash browns. The dining hall area was pretty nasty. The windows had cob webs and dust on the sills like they haven't been cleaned in months. The views were beautiful but the windows were nasty and cruddy like they do not get cleaned regularly. Its quite a shame that they have such an incredible view and server less then mediocre food and have such a HORRIBLE waiter working for them. Make better food, fire this awful lady, and clean and update your dining hall and this COULD be an amazing local spot with so much potential!

The dining room set up for view of the lake and fair quality of food for the price and the waitress combined for a very enjoyable experience.
