New to the area we found this restaurant on yelp. We went for a hamburger and were very happy to have stumbled across a delicious meal, welcoming atmosphere, and additional entertainment with bingo. We will be back for both the food and bingo.

We walked into a fully packed restaurant and bar but only had to wait a few minutes to get a table. The service was outstanding especially considering how busy it was. The food came quickly and was hot and absolutely delicious! I ordered the Patty Melt with onion rings and hubby got the fish fry with cheese curds. The curds are the BEST around!! Big, battered brick cheese from Monticello!! And they improved their homemade ranch since the last time I was there years ago. No complaints. We will be back more often.

AVERAGE... Certainly not docking this place as it is a local Verona favorite and a local watering hole. My coworkers all love it. It has excellent happy hour prices and your average Wisconsin bar, atmosphere and service. Almost everything on the menu is fried with a side of tots. They start making old fashions early on Fridays just as you'd expect.

It is still AMAZING to me that you can order pancakes and they REFUSE to heat the syrup. Nothing like pouring cold syrup on warm pancakes. Their attitude was basically, if you don't like it "tough" I could never recommend this as a place for breakfast.

We sat at the bar at lunch and it took the bartender over 10 minutes to even acknowledge us. Two people sat down after us. After telling her our bar order for a coke and rum and a cocktail with three simple ingredients, she told us she was going to get the other people their drinks first (apparently they were regulars because she did’t even ask them what they were dinking). That was so rude. Then when she found out one of our drinks had to be but in a shaker, her response was “I can’t do that”. What bartender doesn’t know how to use a shaker? We were going to order food, but we were treated so badly by the bartender, that we paid for our over priced simple cocktails and walked out. Terrible service.
