Chang Jiang has ALWAYS had the best Asian/Chinese food around. They’ve been open a long time, and their food is the reason why!

Ordered chicken fried rice, came out curry yellow rice with onions and chicken, no flavor, not even salt and black pepper. Ordered general tso chicken, came drenched in tangy sour sauce, ate several pieces that were absolutely just batter, no chicken. Ordered chicken lo mein noodles no veggies, again no flavor, bland. Where's the msg uncle roger? Asked if we could sit and eat, the man who took our order said yes. A woman entered minutes later and brought our food to us and we could tell she was not happy we were sitting down to eat vs takeout. Three of us sat down, she didn't give us enough utensils or cheap paper plates, we had to keep asking for more. Didn't even bother asking for napkins. Bathroom has no paper towels and the hand soap was watered down. Apparently they're not following regulations. So disappointed, will never go back.

We were given the wrong item and when I called into the store they demanded the order was correct....we ordered a vegetable noodle dish that came with no noodles. The person on the phone was incredibly rude and the food we received was horrible on top of it.

I went to this location because the other location was closed on Tuesdays. I was surprised how different this location was and not for the better. Ordering online was extremely difficult and I accidentally ordered shrimp instead of chicken because of it. Additionally I received to confirmation that my order had been received or an eta on when it would be ready. I only received an email stating that my order was sent to the location and that I might get a phone call to verify my order. I ended up calling about 15 minutes later to see if they got my order and they said it had been ready. The food lacked much flavor and having ordered the wrong dish ruined the meal.

Updating my review because this restaurant saved my life during the lockdown. They are fast, always get my orders right, and have some really delicious things on the menu. I think my experience below was uncommon. Their egg drop soup is delicious, their fried rice and noodle dishes are flavorful and delicious. They put a lot of pork and chicken into the dishes if you order one of those. Maybe don't get shrimp, but do eat here!Ordered the Mongolian shrimp and got literally 6 shrimp and a bunch of onions. Don't get shrimp from them; it's a rude rip-off. That is not Mongolian shrimp, even by low American standards.

We are in town visiting for the holidays, and this place was recommended. We ordered sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, vegetable lo mein, and spring rolls. Unfortunately we were HIGHLY disappointed with the food. It's bland no flavor and the rice is really dry. I would never go again and wish we would've just ordered pizza.

I had to ask for silverware but the food was great

I'm embarrassed. I suffered about 5-10 minutes blindness I think. I pulled into parking lot and only saw the Milio's sandwich, a wine shop that caters to clientele who aren't alcoholics because it's boutique wine, not the same as the dreck sold at woodmans or the regular purveyors of alcoholic bevies; and a place that sells a take and bake frisbee that has a reasonable resemblance to pizza. I ordered #66 I think it was. Roasted pork and broccoli. (always get a the roast pork, it's bbq tenderloin. Not an overly lean cheaper cut from a pig that's been "velveted"., that's not a bad thing, it's just not as good as char sui. Not by a long shot. This entree is often my go to when I visit any of the areas Chang Jiangs, though even when request spicy, it's never really spicy. A sweet and savory sauce, with generally some carrots also in the mix. When the white rice is cooked well, as anything when the rice is right, an enjoyable thing. Tonight's was a tad on the bland side. I prefer a chef who has a heavy hand with garlic. It wasn't the case this evening. Tasty, but mostly sweet. I'm Avoiding sugar deliberately these days, which is hard when you love Chinese cooking. Of the Madison locations this place hasn't failed me, but on the same note, it's enough off the usual path, I tend to rarely think of it when I'm not n Verona and heading home.

Twice in a row now that I’ve ordered family dinner and something’s been missing or wrong.Yesterday I got a shrimp special combination plate instead of the beef plate I ordered, which isn’t the end of the world, but it had only 5 shrimp in there. The food itself has always tasted fine.

Good food but the pick up experience is trash."we'll call you once it's ready".No you won't. You tell me you will buy you never do. Stop playing with my emotions.

I ordered beef and mushrooms dinner with fried rice. All the food was bitter tasting and nasty in my opinion.

Super. When these folks are on their game, it is fantastic. Tonight was one of those times. Order was ready on time and deeeelicious.

She wore a single use glove to help a customer, took it off then reused it for another customer then used it again for me. When i asked about it she just walked away and put the glove back on the same spot to reuse again.
