Food is always good. Service is a bit slow. Sometimes really good, sometimes a bit slow. Younger staff, so that says it all. But they are all very friendly and try very hard. We always go back. Wide open atmosphere, lots of room, can wait at the bar. Always call ahead of time or make a reservation.Parking: Parking right in front of entrance. Can drop off AT the door, park, and come on in. Handicap spots are available.Kid-friendliness: All the staff is extremely friendly.

Loved everything about this restaurant. We had the family style fish fry, which was excellent. The fish was flaky with a crisp breading. The potato pancakes were very good. Coleslaw was good, but I would prefer a bowl of coleslaw rather than a little plastic cup. The carrots were very good too. I didn't try the special mashed potatoes, but I was told they were mushy but had a good flavor. The service was outstanding. We were not rushed.

We had our ladies golf league Spring luncheon there. The food was good and the service was very good. They have an incredible patio and I wouldn't mind spending some time out there with a drink enjoying the view of the golf club.

We've only been here for the Friday Fish Fry, but we have always been pleased with both the meals and the service. If you're starving, and need your food in 5 min., go somewhere else. This place is for relaxed dining in a beautiful setting, where people don't feel rushed, and enjoy visiting with friends. So again, if you're frantic and crave fast food, go to McDonald's. And what kind of person gets upset over the wait staff not wearing masks? If you need that in order to feel safe, there are plenty of places in Milwaukee or Madison to accommodate you. I am delighted to dine here, and will happily continue to do so.

I was there with a large group for a Christmas lunch. Beautiful dining area with large windows overlooking the golf course. We were there on a Friday so, most of us had the fish fry. It is served with Cole slaw and a choice of side. I had sweet potato fries which they serve with a side of sweet sauce for dipping. Yummy lunch, great service and a beautiful setting.

I’m sorry, I hate leaving reviews like this but I have to. What a disappointing meal with family. Took 15 minutes for the waitress to even ask if we wanted anything to drink. Appetizers were bland. We then waited 55 minutes for fish fry’s to arrive. The disappointment continues. Potatoes were sort of warm. Fish was ghastly bad. I ate one piece of fish and moved to the cole slaw…another mistake. Left everything on the plate when waitress FINALLY came back, asked if I was done to which I said I was. You would think she might ask why was the majority of my food still on the plate but no, she didn’t. Young girl oblivious to something so obvious. Maybe I should have Snapchatted it to her. Other family members were just as disappointed. We paid the bill, stood up and walked out past three people standing at the desk in the front and no one even said goodbye, or thanks for coming in.
