I absolutely love me a good fish fry and I have had many excellent fish fries in WI and especially SE WI. A good friend told me about The Blue Herron and we finally tried it. It is without a doubt, as good a fish fry as you will ever have. Not too much breading, great tartar sauce, all you can eat, always busy, great service. Went during the week for meatloaf special. Thought teenage host could do more work. Food Great, one wait staff who held down 5 tables Great job, & friendly. Great cocktails.

It IS worth it. There will be a wait. You're going to need to accept that first and foremost. With great food comes long wait time.
