Chinese Restaurants near Whitewater

“I live outside of town in the county, my wife and I aren't what you would call the "going out" type of folks. Going to this restaurant for take out is what we consider the high life. We have plenty of choices when it comes down to direct competition and without a shadow of a doubt China House of Whitewater is our Alinea of Chicago. It is the special place that we never feel like we are spending too much and always over tip for our meals. Its not the worlds best, but it is still fucking perfect everytime ;)“

“This restaurant has been one of my favorites for years. Food tastes good and it comes at a fair price. Sometimes food temperature can be hit or miss. Which is typically for buffets.I really wish they would bring back plates and silverware. They started using disposable plates and forks and using bottled soda back in 2020. That’s how it’s been ever since. It really does take away from the restaurant experience. It kind of feels like you’re at a picnic having Chinese food.“

“Really excellent food. Ordered crab rangoon, chicken lo mein, garlic chicken, and homestyle bean curd. Everyone was happy with what they got. I also like that they use aluminum take-out containers instead of styrofoam/fully plastic ones. I will return here.“
