“This is our second visit in a week, we came for the chicken and dumplings on Wednesday and back for the fish fry today. On both occasions the food was delicious, hot and a good value. The service was friendly and excellent, thanks Bryanne (not sure of spelling) and Jane. Randy the co-owner is very personable and welcoming. Will definitely be back.“

“Oh my gosh !!!! People you have to stop by and try this buffet. It is so reasonable priced and the food is absolutely delicious. We've gone there the last 2 Friday nights now. The Lemon Pepper fried fish is finger licking good. The fried shrimp, the Pollock, the dressing, chicken, green beans were so good. Tonight they had homemade Clam Chowder and Creme of Asparagus soups. Devine !!!Everything I tried I loved. I was so ready to dig in and eat I forgot to take a couple pictures. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Every single person working in there treats you like they've known you their whole life. Damien a young man in high school that was our server last Friday. Such a friendly young man. Very well mannered and a great sense of humor. Tonight when we went in he was working in the kitchen. When he brought a tray of hot food out he spotted us and made a point to come over and say hello. Stop by and try the buffet. You're guaranteed to leave with a very full tummy. Oh they also have a wide variety of home baked desserts. The 7 Layer bars are some of the best bars I've ever eaten and I'm 66 years old. “This was an accidental find on a beautiful Friday evening. So fish fry it was! They have a variety of fish fry options. We ordered the Family Fish Fry Platter! Yummy! It came with 10 big pieces of fried cod and a huge platter of French fries. It automatically comes with a large tub of Cole slaw but we opted for the salad option. The salad was a bed of leafy spring greens which is waaaaay better then the average iceberg you get at other places. The fish was fried but not overly greasy and the fries were seasoned pretty well. They had a variety of seating options both indoor and outdoor. They also have an enclosed/outdoor bar area. They have a very interesting menu as well. We wanted the fish fry but also noticed a few things we'd like to try in the future. Definitely give this place a try!“

“Had a wonderful experience here last night. Mondays are pizza nights. The waitress, wish I could remember her name was very personable and kind. Food was fast and hot. I highly recommend dill pickle ranch pizza or any pizza for that matter! Wonderful, family friendly, clean.“

“Wow!!!! What a bar and restaurant! We have been staying at Hotel Hillsboro for 6 years. We bring a huge group of people down each year for our annual Chicken Run! (20 rooms). My husband and I have been 100% satisfied in every way, from the food you serve, to the efficient and friendly staff, the drinks (rum buckets rock) to the friendly and warm atmosphere of the establishment in general. We wouldn't go any other place! Clean rooms, great people, lots of laughs, super food (anything on the menu is superb) an over all great place! Thank you Steve for making us feel at home!
