“We had a takeout meal and it was ready on time. We got the beef brisket, pulled pork, and a whole chicken which were excellent. Our side dishes of green beans, potato salad, and coleslaw were also delicious. The coleslaw had an interesting twist with a little spice in it. Their cornbread is also really good and a little bit different recipe we enjoyed.”

The food was incredible, and the sweet gal at the register set the tone for such a warm, welcoming experience right from the start. “My go to choice for Pho had been a Morgantown restaurant but I happened to be in Bridgeport so decided to give “Hello Vietnam” a try. I now have a new favorite Vietnamese cuisine restaurant! Hello Vietnam is located in a small strip mall just off downtown Bridgeport, WV. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. There’s limited seating with about ten tables and around the same number of bar style seating. My friend and I shared a beef and meatball pho, Banh Mi sandwich and spring rolls. Serving sizes are moderate and prices are reasonable. The pho broth was rich and nourishing with tender beef and tasty meatballs. The sandwich was smallish but the bread was fresh and crusty. My favorite were the spring rolls. The vegetables were out of the garden fresh and best of all, the rice paper sheets were soft and tender. So often, these rolls are either hard or falling apart sticky wet. Definitely give this newish Bridgeport restaurant a try. You’ll be supporting a locally owned business too!”

“We had our family Christmas lunch there today. Great service. Great food. Great price. We especially appreciate Kiernan’s attentive service and the friendliness of the manager, Hank. He is always pitching in somewhere to make the dining experience wonderful for patrons. This has become one of our favorite restaurants anywhere because of the quality of the food and the exceptional service. Thank you so much!”

“We just moved to Bridgeport from Spokane, WA. Had seen Winnie's for a couple weeks and finally decided to try it. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had (and we like to go out for breakfast). I had the sausage, egg and cheese bagel and was worried that I was going to get all bun and not much else. The egg was freshly cooked, the sausage was the entire area of the bagel, the cheese was gooey but somehow the bagel was the best. Not sure if they are homemade (didn't ask) but the best bagel ever. My partner had the same but with bacon. There was a generous amount of yummy, very crispy bacon which was delicious. He also had a freshly made banana smoothy that was wonderful. All of this for less than $20. We are used to paying over $30 for two breakfast sandwiches. I can't wait to go there again.”

“The customer service at the Meadowbrook Mall was excellent. They were patient while answering all of our questions and helped explain things/flavors/options to my young boys. One son got the taro milk tea with boba, another got the Superman ice cream in the bubble waffle, and I got the black raspberry fudge ice cream in a cup. The ice cream was delicious, high quality, and had the perfect texture. My son loved his taro tea. We're very excited to come back again and see what else we can try, like taro tea with blueberry popping boba that is supposed to taste like a blueberry muffin. 😋”

“One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. They also have a white (ranch) dip that comes with the salsa and chips that is yummy! I typically always get the steak fajita burrito.”

“You can smell the waffle cones as soon as you walk through the door! There were so many flavors of ice cream, and they were clearly marked if they were gluten free or sugar free. Gluten free sugar cones are available. You can ask for ice cream samples before buying. This time I picked a gluten free cone with cotton candy ice cream. Can't wait to go back and try other flavors!”

“My first time at this LongHorn and I have to say, it's as delicious or more as the one in Charleston. The parking lot was packed for a Tuesday evening and we figured we'd have to wait for a table, but nope. We were seated and our server Courtney immediately took our drink and appetizer/food orders. We had barely settled in and out came the warm bread and spicy chicken bites, both were delicious! We had almost finished the bread when the entrees arrived. I had the ribs with a loaded baked potato and asparagus, again all were delicious. I even commented to my gf that I don't know how they did it but out of about 10 spears of asparagus only 1 spear was a little tough. I've eaten a lot of asparagus and usually the tips are soft and the stems are tough. Kudos to whoever prepared them!! Well deserved 5 stars!”
