This place is a true gem and one I'd gladly (and actually did) drive 35 minutes out of my way to enjoy the food and camaraderie.My wife and I were taking a mini vacation in Northern Virginia and I thought it would be nice to have some authentic Italian pizza. Torlone's came up on a Google Map search with decent reviews. I like reviews, but trust photos... Torlone's looked authentic...Please believe me when I say this place deserves 7 Stars.We didn't realize it when we sat down at the bar, but the personable woman behind the bar (Tina) was the owner now and had started working there 26 years ago. The original owners, Mr. & Mrs. Torlone taught her all the secrets of authentic Italian Crust and Sauce, made from scratch. Even the blue dressing is made in house.Almost Heaven West Virginia never felt closer than when we were there talking and joking with Tina & the regulars while enjoying some truly delicious pizza and wings.We will visit again soon!“
“I bring my family here on just about a weekly basis, for lunch or dinner. It's good pizza, I like half green stripe with a Greek salad for myself. Crispy crust with quality ingredients plus a nice big salad since you can customize to your liking. The staff seem like they like to be there and are friendly at the counter. It's a chill atmosphere and can be a great place to bring kids or drop-in on your own for lunch. One of my favorite go-to's in Charles Town“
“Had a delivery, the lady on the phone very nice, I had a problem with my computer, she help me. She didn't mine helping. The delivery driver, very nice and pleasant. Very helpful with the bags. Every time I order, the food is good.“
“After almost given up on West VA and customer service, I desperately called this papa john's in hopes that they could possibly take a late order. It was 30 mins until closing. Who ever it was that picked up that late call on July 4th thank you so much. It was my 5 yr old Son's birthday and he specially wanted pizza.Thankfully the guy over the phone was The most professional person I had personally talked to over the phone for any food order.Not sure who he was but thank you so much. This will now be the only place we will order pizza and will make sure to let everybody else know about it.“
