Stopped at capitol market for lunch. Found this place and ordered their Alaskan code fish sandwich combo, which included fries an slaw for sides as part of the combo. Sandwich came in 10 minutes and was served on croissant bread. Nice presentation & fish was flavorful & an abundant portion. Very satisfied with my choice and would do it again.
A staple of Charleston the old man and the fish market have been here since I was a young child it’s a friendly face and amazing food you can’t go wrong with the big fish sandwich and clam chowder if your near the capital market this is a must try
Fantastic place! I went with the big fish sandwich which was a bunch of excellent fried fish on a croissant. It was perfectly cooked and fast. Much better than I thought it was going to be. WIsh I lived in Charleston, because I would be a regular customer. Not greasy, but light and flakey. Amazing hush puppies too!
