Our waitress was really attentive but the food was super bland. Small portions especially for these high end prices. Definitely won't return ?

It was our first time visiting the restaurant during the Restaurant Week. We sat at the bar area and had wonderful service. The atmosphere was alright. The food was 50 / 50 interesting. The mushroom ball appetizer was big enough to split for two and great tasting. The short-rib ravioli was really rich and the better entree. The trout with risotto was pretty bland. So was the strawberry cobbler. On the other hand, the chocolate panna cotta was superb.

Had a reservation for 2024 restaurant week. When called back to confirm time, was told there was no reservation with that name. I spoke to the same person both times. We’ve been here before and everything was amazing, but this is very disappointing.

This restaurant is way overpriced for the amount of food you get. To be honest it wasn’t bad, but nothing to write home about either. Don’t show up hungry, because you will leave that way as well. My husbands food was the most disappointing dish. He got Italian sausage ravioli and it looked like it was made for a child. None of the food on the menu comes with salads or sides you just get some thin sliced bread(not garlic toast) think grocery store bread shaved off. The kids food has a larger portion than some of the adult plates. The salad that I got was really small for $10, but it was good and fresh just wish it were in a bowl instead of a plate and you could get a little more. Service could have been a lot better, the waitress was not very nice.. she made me ask her 3 times if the kids plate was butter noodles. We should have went to Long Horn it would have been less expensive and no one would leave hungry. Never again. The only plate that was good was my lasagna, but I wouldn’t come back for that because they are way too overpriced.

Went here for the first time after seeing the lights at the ballpark. Don’t go here if you’re starving and want a lot of food bc you won’t get it unless you want to spend over $30 a person. I got the Fettuccine Alfredo and I added shrimp. For $24 I would have expected a larger portion. See pic attached. Or at least a small salad to come with it. No, just bread. It was good food. I got 4 pieces of large shrimp with it. Nothing to come running back for. Pretty basic sauce indicative to authentic Italian food places that aren’t a chain. I’m just looking for some really really good Italian food and this was just average imo. Maybe my expectations are too much.

My mother-in-law and I both had our first visit here this evening. We loved the food and the featuring of local places here (Charleston Bread and Ellen’s Ice Cream). We tried the meatball appetizer, chicken Alfredo, chicken parm, & apple crisp. We noticed room for improvements in theAmbiance and way the staff operated. Will go back for sure!

Our first time at this great little gem!! Enjoyed an amazing dinner at the bar with Roberto taking care of us. The Ravioli was as fresh as we’ve ever had anywhere. Had the good fortune of meeting the owners, Libby & Mark! Very welcoming people and a pleasure to meet!! We look forward to returning in the future!!

I have never had a bad experience here! My wife and I sat outside and watched the Dirty Birds game while spending a similar amount to eat the best lasagna in Charleston!

I've been here several times with family, and the food is always great. It was an early spot to come back after the pandemic. The pasta (which comes from Charleston Bread down the road) is delicious. On my most recent visit I had the swordfish and polenta, which was solid. The service is good. You can see a ballgame in the summer, though the atmosphere is great year round.

Good rich chicken soup with tiny dumplings. Good cheese ravioli and good lasagna. Bread good, dipping oil just so-so. Ice tea kinda weak. Our waitress provided very good service.

Great handcrafted food and service. Their eggplant parmesan is some of the best I've had. The portions are generous and the meal comes with tasty fresh bread. My top restaurant in charleston. The service is always very good too.PS dont listen to the Karens giving this place a 1 star. I've been going here for a year and its always great. Maybe they should stick to Mcdonalds.
