“Alas, a really spectacular meal can still be found in north central WV. For years, we celebrated our special occasions at the Wonder Bar, but recently it has quite simply not been what it once was. On the advice of friends, we decided to try Julio’s for our 10th anniversary. Despite not locating our reservation, they still made room to accommodate my wife and me. My Perfect Manhattan was crafted just right, the house salad dressing was superb, and our filets were absolutely fabulous. It was so refreshing to find that a great restaurant is still out there. For the past several occasions, I’d resorted to cooking at home figuring “why pay for a meal out when I can make better at home”. Julio’s gives me good reason not to cook and leave the task to their talented chef! Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

We got an amazing hot dog wrapped in bacon, fries, salads, bruschetta (best I have ever eaten anywhere), fried pickles, and drinks. Wanted icecream or dessert but ate so much couldn’t do it. The wait staff and cook were the nicest and most courteous ever! Just cannot say enough about this amazing place. BEST restaurant in the area.”

I lived in Harrison County many years but also have lived in other parts of our State, currently Charleston. Fries were fresh and came with the order. Staff was very attentive, in fact more than needed. They asked several times if it was to go. I wondered if that was the preference. There was little atmosphere.”

“I arrived at 09:30 just as a fresh batch of pepperoni rolls came out of the oven and into the rack. They were delicious as I remember from my youth. Although not the original their flavor and consistency was perfect. This business is a West Virginia treasure entitled to all the support and affection the clients hold dear.”

“Texas Roadhouse Dani Drive Fort Myers, Florida Our recent visit to Texas Roadhouse was a great experience overall, despite a small hiccup with our order. We ordered an 8-ounce sirloin (medium) with a baked potato, a salad, and their signature fresh-baked yeast rolls. When the steak arrived, it was unfortunately well-done instead of medium. However, the service team quickly turned things around. Our waitress, Kassie, was attentive and immediately addressed the issue. Shortly after, Tracy, the floor manager, personally brought our corrected order back to the table and apologized for the mistake. Their professionalism and quick response really stood out. Aside from this, everything else was perfect. The food was delicious, the rolls were warm and fluffy, and the call-ahead seating made our arrival seamless. We only waited a few minutes before being seated, which is always a plus. Texas Roadhouse continues to be one of our go-to spots for great food and friendly service. Mistakes happen, but their commitment to making things right keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!”

“Passing through on our way to Pennsylvania for late lunch. 15-20 min. wait when we arrived. I assumed because of the lack of help which is pretty much everywhere so I get that.
The food was good but you could cut the tension with a knife. Atmosphere was not good at all. Stephanie was our server as well as the bartender. She was running around waiting on tables, serving the bar and washing glasses. The other service seemed to be rushing as well.
A tall blonde was cleaning tables and seating customers. When she was finished she would sit on the bench by the door on her phone. Eventually she was joined by a young gentleman with glasses who was running his hands through his hair 🤢 and went outside on his phone multiple times and joined her sitting on the bench by door. Not a good look for a restaurant. If there's a 15 or 20 minute wait I can't imagine why anyone is sitting anywhere.
Does not reflect a team environment at all. These are the kind of things that make people quit jobs.”

“While home for my 40th high school reunion no where else , I would rather eat (along with Oliverio’s) . Best sandwiches anywhere. Being from Pittsburgh, I grew up eating these huge sandwiches of deliciousness. We put French fries on our sandwiches. Very tasty . We had the pizza last night . Always fresh ingredients. Pizza was perfect. A little bit of heaven for the Pittsburgh/North Central WV girl now living in SW Fl.”

“While I love the quality of product at Sams there are a few things that have bothered me that I have been meaning to share. *Self checkout: I am Ok with self check out but never see an attendant when I need one. frustrating. * Double checkout: having to wait in line at checkout and then wait again to get out the door is my biggest pet peeve. Once they sent me over to customer service and customer service sent me back to the end of the line which was 12 deep. * Not sure if you are aware but folks with severe Latex allergies can not come in the door to shop because the tire section is right at the entrance and risk having a reaction. It may seem minor but maybe consider a different location? Again I applaud your product but these are items that make my shopping experience less than stellar.”

“This was my first experience at this hot spot. Very nice atmosphere with plenty of game selections. Decorated nicely. The lady that was working was not very energetic but did he job. She was friendly though.

“My family and I rolled into Arby’s after a long day at the race track. Once in the parking lot pulling our 30 foot camper we realized the inside was closed due to covid. It was late we were starving and at this point bummed. We headed back toward the car Shannon came around the building and asked would you like for me to take your order. It was awesome most would have ignored that we had even pulled in the parking lot but not her she took our $50 order and quickly brought our food out to the car to us. I hope Arby’s appreciates you Shannon because we do ❤️”

“Went during a citywide blackout. They had one lady taking orders, cooking and serving with no help whatsoever. She held that whole place down and serviced half the city of Clarksburg by herself with a smile on her face. Even in the face of the very rude customers that followed us. The owners owe her a HUGE thank you!!!”

“For the last 2 years I've been alternating fast food joints for lunch at work. This particular BK is more accurate than most places on Emily drive. Also, their ice machine is clean. I always eat/drink the ice left over in my drinks, and there's an alarming number of fast food places on Emily drive with dirty ice machines that leave a bad taste. Kudos”
