“I enjoyed the meal. Not spectacular, but it was as good as it should be (I had the kielbasa, red potatoes and cabbage) and the chicken salad was pretty good too. Just a little disappointing that it was almost a paste consistency. The Fudge Cake was better than advertised. I would order it a dozen times over the Shoney’s fudge cake.If I come back to the area I’ll have to try a different dish. And maybe dine in, but as it is seat yourself, I didn’t want to take up a table by myself. If there’s no parking out front, it’s a good bet that the house is full and there are seats available for the wheelchair bound.“
“The ravioli and the Sicilian pasta (mushrooms, oil, garlic) were excellent. The pasta was not overloaded with garlic. The side salads included were very good also. The lemon berry cake was great with a nice lemon taste. We had a side of fried peppers as an appetizer and they were tasty and very good. The dining room was informal and it was very busy. We were told the wait would be about an hour, but it was "only" 45 minutes. They text you. The servers were very helpful and nice (and busy). The cost was quite reasonable.“
“This place has withstood the test of time here in WV and should be visited by anyone traveling through or vacationing. I have literally never had a bad experience in over 20 years and the food has always been top notch. Service and staff are polite, attentive and just as great as the food.“
“Homestyle Italian cooking. Different special everyday and those specials do run out, especially the pepperoni rolls and pierogis. A case with meats, cheeses, salads, Italian sausage (ground or rope) that you can take home and cook yourself. Take out only. Very tasty. I try to stop at least once a month. They only take cash right now so keep that in mind.Vegetarian options: No veggie options that I am aware of.Parking: Smallish parking lot. Maybe 6-7 spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Have steps to get into the building.“
