“I stopped here today for lunch after not being in this building for years. There used to be a restaurant at this location that I did not care for too much back in the day but apparently was opened by someone new. I stopped in relatively early. I wasn't sure what to order but the bartkeep Heidi(sp?), suggested the cheesesteak. Now, if you've ever read any of my reviews, you know I have eaten at many places around the globe.There have been very few times I give a place credit for a good cheesesteak. Anytime you don't have to add ketchup or mayo on a cheesesteak, u know its good. Was a little drippy at the end but that ended up being a good thing to dip my bread in.Cheesesteak 9/10 (amazing for Follansbee and surrounding area)Jalapeño poppers 6/10. (These were good, what u would expect.Don't forget to tip your bartender.“

“A fun bar to go out with your friends or just hang out by yourself. It gets very busy after 10 pm. They have tons to drink and eat. They have darts and pool to play as well.Parking: Usually lots of parking, sometimes it gets crowded on the weekends.“

“This is a really nice place, a touch of rustic bar with a hint of love. The food is really tasty and highly suggested. The hot sausage sandwich was really delicious and my wife got the patty Mac, it was better than a big Mac and the fries were even better. The pickle spears were hot and tasty as was the ranch. I highly recommend this place for anyone to stop by. Next time we may try the ax throwing.“

“We really enjoyed our dinner at this location. We had the steak fries for an app and I highly recommend it, they use real steak vs what is typically used for an app at this price. We also tried their steak and chicken alfredo, that was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by.“

“It’s a divey place you may not think of for food but I recently tried the Weirton famous French burger and it really changed my opinion on burgers…I’m not a burger person, never have been..but I like spicy food and was actually amazed at the size of this thing! It is 16$ but absolutely worth it, as it’s basically 3 burgers in one… the spicy sauce was awesome, not too overpowering, just enough heat..I actually added some PEPPERONCINIS at home..and we still had 1/2 left the next day..again most leftovers I’ve tried have been not great to say the least, but I heated the burger up in the air fryer oven on BAKE, for 6-7 mins, it was literally still so amazing!!! I don’t frequent this location, I don’t think I’ve ever even had a beer there before, BUT.. do yourself a favor if you like unique burgers..and GET THE FRENCH BURGER!!! & the only reason I rated service a 4/5 is because it took quite a while for our pick up order, which was only the burger, but after seeing its size, it’s understandable, you’ll be waiting 25+ mins..super worth it..My grandpa worked in the mill his entire life basically and would always rave about these burgers and getting to enjoy one definitely made me feel closer to him❤️“

“their staff was nice and very generous. they feed their customers on Sundays for the less fortunate. Every time I go inside they are polite and always cheap. Out of the 6 bars in Toronto, this one is bar-none the best. Yesterday was veterans day and they took care of me, well the patrons of the establishment took care of me as a local veteran. Thanks Frog's Place, the place to go if you're feeling hoppy.“

“I been away from this area for about a decade. Just moved back a month ago and I'm so glad to see this restaurant is still opened. The most delicious food with a beautiful atmosphere. My favorite dishes here are the nachos, sampler platter, and I love their burgers just to name a few. Their spaghetti is also out of this world. Brings back some of my most precious childhood memories.Kid-friendliness: I loved it when I was a little one“

“It's been 5 years since I was last there for a mixer with the Catholic Central Crusaders from the Class of '68's 50th reunion. Going back there this Friday, August 4, 2023, for a 55th year group get together. Looking forward to having a few there.“
