“Tried brownie meltdown.. it costed $6.75 dollars.. brownie meltdown comes with vanilla icecream and you have option to change the icecream if required. Also whipping cream and nuts are optional. We are confused of selecting banana split or brownie melt and we decided to go with the meltdown. Brownie meltdown was yum and adding nuts was best decision.. the place was very nice… it would be nice if they had seating around the store..there is plenty of parking.. the staff were really nice and helpful. Must visit place before summer is done.“

“The food was delicious especially the chopped steak and my wife's country fried steak was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, thanks to our server Hannah. Price range is very affordabe. I always enjoyed coming to huddle house here in WV it's a nice kid friendly environment with excellent delightful service as well.“

“Great little diner with food at a great price. No processed meals like those chain restaurants. My bride and I are there every Saturday and Sunday morning, sometimes for weekend lunches. Patty, Stephanie, Angel, and the rest of the staff are the most welcoming and friendly. It is honestly like coming home for a great home made meal. Stop in and meet the crew and us locals. “A great place with great food. I loved the feeling of being in an old inn and dining with friends. I really noticed the wood trim on the doors and window frames. Our server was great, she was knowledgeable on gluten free options, which I appreciate. I got wings and cheesy steak fries. They were delicious. The wings were perfectly done and just the right size. They were so good they were even still tasty days later, reheated in my hot logic. Would definitely go here again.Dietary restrictions: Had choices for gluten free and soy free. I had garlic Parm wings and cheesy steak fries.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not too sure, I would definitely double check. When I made our reservation they asked if we could do stairs, and I said yes. We were seated upstairs on the second floor.“

“I had a great time last night for a birthday party. Karaoke was fun and I would love to see Karaoke done weekly. Especially outside in the warm months on the new deck. Beautiful scenery. I love this bar! Sunday Fundays are the best! Great bartenders!“

“The service was fast and friendly. The food was all mostly good. Was not a fan of the lobster bisque as it has no taste of lobster just more of a fish taste. The pork chops and fries tasted great and so did the spicy sausage soup. The fish platter was also great including the asparagus.“

It sits in a small plaza and on the outside doesn't look like a restaurant but as soon as you walk in it's very surprising and niceWe had to wait a few moments to be seated which was fine, the hostess was extremely nice. Our server came and got our drink orders which were their sweet tea, and a really good sweet tea to boot.My wife ordered their breakfast with the country fried steak as I got their cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. Our food was amazing, my wife said the country fried steak was extremely tender and the gravy was smooth and full of flavor. Her home fries were cooked perfectly as were her eggs as she asked for over medium, and they were actually cooked properly.My burger was a decent size and surprisingly juicy. I asked for bacon and a fried egg on top between a medium and hard yoke, whomever cooked it was amazing as it too was done precisely as asked. The chilli cheese fries were also amazing as the chilli was spicy at all as the cheese melted onto the hand cut fries.The price for their food is on point as for their portions are the right amount, service and atmosphere great. I highly suggest this establishment as my wife and I will return to try more of their yummy food.“

“My wife and I were visiting from out of state for brother in laws birthday and retirement celebration. Private dining area in the back of the restaurant was set up for a surprise party. The room was nice for the large number of guest.All the food was very good from the salad to the pasta, meatballs and fried chicken.The entire staff was super freindly and attentive for the entire party throughout the evening. Definitely a do-over when in the area.“

My favorite dishes here are the nachos, sampler platter, and I love their burgers just to name a few. Their spaghetti is also out of this world. “What a group here spent quite a bit of time here was able to stay in their parking lot in my rig. A 48 foot gooseneck trailer. A three headed propane heater would allow me to spend time in the trailer at evening time during the cold weather months, believe me it got really cold along the river hereMy Nissan tube along with my jeep I could store in the 28 foot cargo area. If it was really cold, I would leave my down blankets behind inside the trailer and crawl into my Nissan tube. I had a bed made in my passenger seat I could stay quite toasty That vehicle had good gas mileage, lol serious I took the headrest off would put closing and supplies underneath my bedding to fill in the voidsThese are amazing times in a persons life you appreciate the people who helped you along the way and these guys did.I always had a warm meal inside and plenty of old timers to learn from inside with conversation. “Went here for the first time today with my family, father and brother. We came from the Youngstown Ohio area just to try these ribs and let me just say they did not disappoint. Absolutely fall off the bone ribs, awesome fries and sweet potato fries, out of this world strawberry cake.. everything from start to finish was awesome and the server was fantastic. I can confidently say although we're about an hour and 15 minutes away we WILL be back!“

“This is our third visit and even though it has been a few years since we were there it was again, exceptional! I had the pumpkin pancakes, with cream and maple syrup, side of home fries and sausage links. This is a seasonal item and would highly recommend. The seasoning was amazing and of course very rich! My husband had the banana, caramel over French toast, side of hash browns and sausage links, again he was very happy with them. He said the hash browns had some crunch to them and not mushy like they can be! It was the same with home fries, also with some crunchy pieces…they were seasoned and very good! The place was hopping when we arrived about 11:30, we waited about three minutes to be seated, but both Brandie and the other server were exceptional! Would definitely recommend!“

Can't believe I've never been here before but what a cool, cozy retro mid century looking throwback of a restaurant in beautiful Avella. Service was the best. Prices great. Food was ok but I'll give another try for sure. Was in area because of the great antique store Poor Johnny's which is right down the road.“

“We've always enjoyed the Sunday brunch. For the most part the food was well- flavored and fresh. The only items that left something to be desired were the cole slaw (no flavor whatsoever, just shredded cabbage) which normally was pretty good. And the bacon was not crispy, just limp and greasy.“
