“The perfect ending to a long day! Arrived at 9:45 pm and asked if we were too late to order dinner, they close at 10 pm. We were told we had plenty of time and elected to sit at the bar. Keith our bartender and waiter could not have been more accommodating and entertaining. Wine was chilled perfectly, and Food came out right away. The Fall Festival salad was the BESt I have ever tasted , burger cooked to perfection , and table side flambé crème brûlée! Entire experience was outstanding, and only wish we had found it earlier in the week as, alas, we returned to Richmond the next morning! Def a 5 star!”

“My Lady Friend read comments about this cafe and we made a special trip to try their food. Steve the owner made us welcome, and after checking the menu, I had the shrimp Po-Boy, friend had half a shrimp Po-Boy and a cup of Gumbo. I have been many times to New Orleans and the food here is every bit as good as N.O.— I took a cup of Gumbo home too. Delicious !!”

“Just tried this place for lunch today for the first time with my husband. We each ordered the empanada special with the miso coconut soup. All 3 empanadas we tried were delicious with a flakey pastry shell. We tried the Mexican street corn, chicken curry and the honey bacon, egg and white cheddar. The miso soup was one of the best soups that we have had. The soup was so flavorful! We will definitely be back here again.”

“Fazolis left our area several years ago, and we saw this one on our return from vacation. The food was just as good as we remembered, and the service was exactly as good as I expected. Good to enjoy a familiar place!

“Best BBQ in Huntington and the surrounding area, hands down! We love bbq and try every restaurant we can, Bizzle’s is one of the best we’ve had. Huge portions; the two meat platter will feed two hungry adults. The brisket is very flavorful, juicy, and the fat is rendered perfectly. Burnt ends are to die for. The ribs have great texture and flavor with a hint of sweet, you don’t even need bbq sauce. However, if you do want sauce, theirs are all homemade and amazing! If you haven’t yet, do yourself a favor and give this amazing restaurant a try!”

“It is small but it is a good place for craft beer featuring Jackie O’s. They have a nice draft list too. I went on Thanksgiving Day so it wasn’t very busy. I think it is a lot like The Beer Trappe but with a smaller selection of beers to take home. Look forward to going back”

“We always enjoy Waffle House. Breakfast is our to go food. There are two waffle Houses in our area. I like both but the one on 29th street in Huntington WV is my favorite. There is a young waitress there. I think her name is Shanti but I’m not positive. I have a 13 year old grandson who has had trouble with bullying and has difficulties with making friends. She teases him and is extra friendly to him. She calls him Mr. Long Hair because he like a lot of teenage boys has long hair. He loves going to Waffle House and his mental attitude has changed so much. We are very appreciative of her. She is what Waffle House is. Going home where you feel comfortable and eating a good meal with family and friends.”

“The best coffee in the tristate. Starbucks can't even compete. I've been a regular since it opened a year ago, going 4-5 times a week usually and I think I've only had one issue with a drink and it was just because she misheard me and I received a free drink in its place at my next visit. HB knows what they're doing and their points system is awesome.”

“This restaurant was recommended by one of my passengers while driving rideshare. It's a restaurant that's been around for ages and a local favorite. It has all sorts of Coca-Cola memorabilia throughout. Two waitresses worked in concert with each other. They are friendly and work hard. I had the classic ham sandwich with onion rings. Both were good after I salted the rings to my taste. The ham sandwich didn't seem to be the "large" that I ordered. It's probably a simple mistake. One took the order, and the other gal delivered. Oh, well. There was certainly a steady flow of local, well-known friends and customers.
It's worth stopping in to try it and see what you think!

“I had a calzone and mountain dew. My food was cooked perfectly. It was delicious. The only thing about it that I don't like is that they put a paper under it when they serve it. And when you cut the calzone the paper tries to go with the food. I don't like eating paper. I ended up removing the paper. Service was great. I would recommend this place for sure.”

Waitress went the kitchen and had another team member come and suggest an item that used to be on the menu. It was a very spicy shrimp dish w/ beans and rice. KUDOS to the suggestion. I was extremely happy and the rest of my family was very satisfied. Yummy margaritas as well.”

Some fresh and refrigerated items available as well...cheese, coleslaw, meat, salads. Apple butter, chow chow, canned peppers, sauces, rock candy.

“It's a fast food chain that specializes in roast beef rather than fried meats, and is a welcome break from the burger places. Food prep time is a little slower than the burger place, but well worth a minute or so wait. The sandwiches can be served as a wrap rather than in a sandwich bun. My favorite is the roast turkey, ranch dressing, and bacon wrap.”

Definitely want to thank the waiter and waitress who served us. They were super nice and accommodating. The evening went smooth and they were super efficient. “I got the jalapeño honey chicken sandwich and I would give it a 5 out of 10. Too much sweetness on the sandwich to where nothing stood out but the chicken itself. The jalapeños weren’t giving that bite back spiciness. Also if I were putting the sandwich together I would recommend putting the coleslaw on top of the chicken because it seeps through the bottom bun and makes it impossible to grab without falling through. But I definitely want to come back and try every sandwich there.. that sandwich wasn’t for me but others would probably enjoy it. Also the fries were nice and crispy and the staff was super nice and welcoming.”
