“My Lady Friend read comments about this cafe and we made a special trip to try their food. Steve the owner made us welcome, and after checking the menu, I had the shrimp Po-Boy, friend had half a shrimp Po-Boy and a cup of Gumbo. I have been many times to New Orleans and the food here is every bit as good as N.O.— I took a cup of Gumbo home too. Delicious !!“

The food is ordered and brought to your car on a window tray. The root beer comes in a glass mug and has a distinctive, nice flavor. I had a cheeseburger that was like a smash burger with tomatoes, pickles, raw onions, and catchup. Mmmmmm......it was good! I tried a couple of hot dogs. One was a WV dog with chili and slaw. “Our first time visiting this incredible little hidden gem in Huntington was the night before St. Patrick’s Day this year. We had the best first time experience. The food was incredible, our waitress was spot on, I wish I could remember her name, she was all decked out for St. Pattys Day with green hair in her double braids and her personality was lighthearted and fun!The atmosphere was was lively and fun! Definitely family friendly even though I didn’t see very many children that evening.The band that played was really good and kept the audience engaged with their lively tunes!Their outdoor space was pretty awesome too. “Our first visit to this restaurant, all i can say is hands down the best spaghetti & ravioli. Coming from a pasta lover! I love how i got to do 1/2 spaghetti & 1/2 ravioli, awesome option. Rest of our family got the steak sandwich, they all loved it. Friendly server,very knowledgeable & sweet, Abby. & once we were all done, a nice woman came up and heard it was our first time & gave us a choice of a free candy / gum. so sweet!!! thank you guys!! if we are ever back, will for sure stop again!“

“Went for Valentine's Day !! Small intimate setting where locals come to enjoy a drink and relax. The food (steak) is amazing with the Mushrooms !!! I have had just about everything on the menu and was never disappointed. I ALWAYS ask for the waiter Casey HE IS AMAZING! He knows the menu, knows the specials. Always pleasant !!! “I really love this place. I would come here weekly if the prices were cheaper. Being right beside a college, I feel like if they shaved a few bucks off the prices that they would be packed every night. The food is excellent and they have the best waitress I have ever had. My only complaint is the prices are a little high, I would be a regular here if they lowered it just a bit. I will eat here as much as I can, food and service is good and I recommend the place.“

“You have to be very specific about how you want your sandwich. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and got Burger, mushroom, and Swiss. No salt, no mayo, no pepper, no lettuce tomato or onion. Made it a very bland and dry burger.Waffle fries and beer were good though.“

The pretzel was good with beer cheese, sharp mustard, and raspberry butter. Even an Oreo cream puff on the night I was there. “loved this place. the food and service are excellent. the place is clean and there is plenty of free parking. we had the con todo for an appetizer and you could probably make a meal out of it. I had the beef taco, enchilada, and con queso dinner which was excellent. the con todo had nachos, jalapeño poppers, quesadillas, and mozzarella sticks. the complimentary tortillas, salsa, and mayonnaise spicy sauce was the best I have had. just go here. it was so good.“

The chicken dippers are the only let down. Overall, they are fine and perfectly edible. But, they could be so much better if made like boneless wings from other shops. Miss Loretta and her team every weekday morning are a blessing to a commuter who has an hour drive and no time to cook breakfast in the mornings. “This is a long standing small business in our town. My husband and another couple went for a special evening out. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated. The waiters were very kind and considerate. The menu explains each authentic Indian dish in detail. The seating area is open and clean with white tablecloths and china ready for seating. The food arrived quickly. We had the non-vegetarian NAWAB special that included an appetizer, a basket of naan, entree (we chose lamb), and dessert. We requested "hot" flavoring and it was delicious.
