“We wanted to try something new for date night a few months ago and came here on a whim. I’m so glad we did because we ended up finding a gem! First of all, the food was amazing. My boyfriend got the gumbo & cornbread, I got the pulled pork nachos & voodoo egg rolls, and we shared the banana bread dessert. Everything was so amazing that my boyfriend asked to speak with the owner. We met the owner & his wife and enjoyed talking to them. The bartender & servers were also incredibly friendly. We’ve been back since then & will definitely continue coming. Love this place!“

“I took my grandparents to The Ohio Redwood for the first time in a couple of years, and the experience was perfect. Our servers, Taylor and Sam, provided our drinks and food with such speed that Dale Earnhardt would be proud. The chefs, Bailey and Marcus, cooked my grandpa’s steak to perfection. I was incredibly pleased with my Reuben, firmly placing it in the top three Reubens I’ve ever had. As grandma said as we left, “If you leave this place hungry, it’s your fault.”“
“The Root Beer Shack is a must stop! Cheryl was very nice and the entire staff was so welcome and kind. We sat outside on a beautiful day! Tried 4 different hotdogs, fries, Mac n cheese triangles, and the Rootbeer slushies! Everything was amazing. Great value! “Enjoyed a hand packed cheeseburger and onion rings. Sandwich was awesome and huge. Onion rings crispy and tasty. Food served up quickly and waitress was very hospitable and checked on us frequently. I like the decor with many photos of the local school teams and old memorabilia. There was a group of men there in suits, probably regular customers. They have a small vocabulary. Most sentences used the f-bomb and talked loud and disturbing. Keep that in mind if you are looking for a pleasant dining experience or trashy bar.“
“Great portions at a fair price. Chicken livers were cooked on the griddle and lightly breaded, which was a first usually I see batter dipped from a deep fryer. Chili fries were "interesting" and were good but the chili skewed more to a tomato-heavy pasta sauce.“

“We got so much food for a very low price. I cant remember the cost. I want to say $14 for 2. We were full. We got sausage and gravy, bacon and eggs, pancakes, homefries (hashbrowns). Everything was so delicious, especially the pancakes. They were the fluffiest pancakes. We were even 45 minutes late into eating it and it was still warm and delicious. The only complaint i have is they didnt give us plastic forks to eat with nor napkins, so be sure you have an extra set in your car if youre wanting to go to the park to eat. And also, remember to bring cash! They dont take card! It was a 5 star experience! We will be coming back!“

They're bar tops have some incredibly collectable cards of everyone you can think of in every sport, and even have cards of local kids who play sports for the local schools in the area. The atmosphere is friendly and fun, the staff treat you like family and the FOOD IS AMAZING! You gotta try their pizzas, their wings, and their burgers!!!! Great drinks and great sports! We absolutely hit the jackpot with The Cocktail Bar! Great and clean atmosphere, amazing staff who took the time to explain the unique drinks we ordered as they made them. Dottie, who was our mixologist, was so friendly and fun to order from and explained step by step every dribk we ordered. It was the best old-fashion I have ever had. This is definitely a place to visit, and prices were reasonable. We will definitely always stop here whenever we have friends and family visiting.“
