“The Root Beer Shack is a must stop! Cheryl was very nice and the entire staff was so welcome and kind. We sat outside on a beautiful day! Tried 4 different hotdogs, fries, Mac n cheese triangles, and the Rootbeer slushies! Everything was amazing. Great value! “Great portions at a fair price. Chicken livers were cooked on the griddle and lightly breaded, which was a first usually I see batter dipped from a deep fryer. Chili fries were "interesting" and were good but the chili skewed more to a tomato-heavy pasta sauce.“

The antipasto salad and ham and cheese pizza is the best.Kid-friendliness: They have coloring pages and highchairs.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp that goes in the front of the restaurant. No steps into the restaurant just a ramp.“

“Recently moved to the area from West Coast and had company visiting in from out of town, so we were frantically looking for somewhere unique to take them. We absolutely hit the jackpot with The Cocktail Bar! Great and clean atmosphere, amazing staff who took the time to explain the unique drinks we ordered as they made them. Dottie, who was our mixologist, was so friendly and fun to order from and explained step by step every dribk we ordered. It was the best old-fashion I have ever had. This is definitely a place to visit, and prices were reasonable. We will definitely always stop here whenever we have friends and family visiting.“

We decided to try it and we give it a 10 out of 10 or 5 Star review ;) we will definitely go back, friendly warm atmosphere, good food, cold beer and great service and at an AFFORDABLE price! “We got so much food for a very low price. I cant remember the cost. I want to say $14 for 2. We were full. We got sausage and gravy, bacon and eggs, pancakes, homefries (hashbrowns). Everything was so delicious, especially the pancakes. They were the fluffiest pancakes. We were even 45 minutes late into eating it and it was still warm and delicious. The only complaint i have is they didnt give us plastic forks to eat with nor napkins, so be sure you have an extra set in your car if youre wanting to go to the park to eat. And also, remember to bring cash! They dont take card! It was a 5 star experience! We will be coming back!“

They're bar tops have some incredibly collectable cards of everyone you can think of in every sport, and even have cards of local kids who play sports for the local schools in the area. The atmosphere is friendly and fun, the staff treat you like family and the FOOD IS AMAZING! You gotta try their pizzas, their wings, and their burgers!!!! Great drinks and great sports! They have the NFL Sunday Ticket along with YouTube TV, so regardless of what team you're rooting for, you will be able to watch any game.Kid-friendliness: It's a BAR, but there's a section where kids are welcome.“

“We wanted to try something new for date night a few months ago and came here on a whim. I’m so glad we did because we ended up finding a gem! First of all, the food was amazing. My boyfriend got the gumbo & cornbread, I got the pulled pork nachos & voodoo egg rolls, and we shared the banana bread dessert. Everything was so amazing that my boyfriend asked to speak with the owner. We met the owner & his wife and enjoyed talking to them. The bartender & servers were also incredibly friendly. We’ve been back since then & will definitely continue coming. Love this place!“
