Varsity Club is a great place to stop in for a meal. The food is excellent, with generous portions to take home. The menu features great sandwiches, including the chili cheese dog and fries, which can be customized to your liking. The staff is friendly, and prices are reasonable. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a quiet atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a family outing. The atmosphere is fun, and the place offers a solid drink selection with good-sized pours, plenty of options on tap, and more in bottles. The fish sandwich, gyro tacos, turkey club, and El Capitan (a burger with chorizo & jalapeño) are all fantastic choices. The sweet potato fries are popular, and the steak salad is excellent—adding fries would make it even better. The restaurant is also a great spot for watching sports, with many TVs and accommodations for any game. It’s especially good to arrive early for football games, and the staff is known to be great. The food is generally good, with crispy fish and chips that are enough to satisfy and even fill you up for the next day. Overall, Varsity Club offers great food, drinks, and a fun vibe, making it a place worth visiting.
