“I gave this place a 5 cause I always like going in there cause I'm able to get in and out very quickly the cashiers are really nice. But the lady working the deli on Wednesday evening At 6:45 PM was very rude. I told her that I was sorry that I had inconvenienced her. Because that How she left me feeling How she left me feeling“
“I thought these kinds of stores were supposed to be a little cheaper, BUT I only purchased one item that was cheaper than what it said on the sign.I know everything is rising - it just seems I can buy (say at Walmart) and spend the same to a little less.“
“First visit to Tom Horton's - renowned Canadian donut shopWe visited in Parkersburg WV. Food was delicious - only downside was overall price was pretty high. 3.5 breakfast items including 2 avocado toasts and country wrap, 2 milks and 4 donuts and we were charged 69 cents each for tap water. $30 total seemed a little high.“
“Our family’s absolute favorite that we must have every time we come back to the area. The cake, as usual, is the best!!! Also grabbed a box of Christmas cookies at checkout which were fantastic! Thank you for accommodating a last minute order!!“
“I'm picky about donuts, having nothing to do with any chain and only patronizing local shops. McHappy's is fantastic! The donuts are freshly made and taste like it. The quality of every ingredient is obvious with one bite. You should stop if you're in the area. Plus this location is open 24, so you don't have an excuse for not going!“
“this is my second year ordering cakes and cupcakes for my daughter's birthday, i absolutely love how friendly and helpful the staff is. they offer the cutest ideas. they also offer gluten free cakes which is GREAT for my family who can't have gluten. i absolutely love this bakery. they really hit it every year Dietary restrictions: love the gluten free options “
“I love with locations (Beverly and Parkersburg, with a third to open soon in McConnellsville, I think). The staff is always kind, can assist with recommendations, and the establishment is always clean and trendy.Parking: It's in a plaza that is small. Also, watch out when you back up to leave. I saw a truck hit another parked truck while backing up.Kid-friendliness: Kid drink options available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access.“
“McHappys is super expensive but well worth it. Make sure you get a pepperoni roll while there which is Napolis and have them to warm it up if you are on the road. Differences between McHappys and JRs donut castle: McHappys is more Expensive, McHappys pipe a dollop of different colored frosting on top of the filled donuts so you know what flavor you are about to sink your teeth into which is nice and they are more doughy with a thicker consistency than JRs. Both establishments have a drive thru which is super convenient. McHappys has a drive thru window with glass separating you and the worker which was super convenient in Covid times. It makes it difficult to get dozens of donuts though because they have to put it up against the window then move it over to your side so I am always afraid they will get icing on the lid but they usually put tissue paper between the donuts and the lid and it works out fine. I have purchased dozens of donuts for 2 different places that I have worked and they both preferred McHappys over JR but I'm conflicted.“
