“This is not a restaurant. It is a small gambling establishment. Clean and quiet. Has 10 video machines. Snacks available without charge if you are playing machines.”

“The employees here work their butt's off to make sure everything is exactly the way the customer wants it. They are extremely friendly, kind, respectful and go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. On 8/21/24 in the late afternoon, I was picking up an online order when I witnessed the 3 girls working being treated like dirt by an older couple who also placed an online order. Unfortunately, the couple placed their order incorrectly, and listed what they didn't want as apposed to what they did want. The girls made the order exactly as it was placed. This couple then went on to belittle and badger these girls demanding their food be remade, all the while harassing them, talking down to them and verbally abusing them at the counter while they did what was asked of them. The girls not only kept their composure, but did so while remaining friendly and pleasant. So I am writing this reveiw to commend them for their ability to behave better than most grown adults would in such a stressful situation. Also, SHAME on you to the older couple who felt they had any right to treat these employees in such a nasty manner. Management should be aware.”

“When I received my order, the thought that ran through my head was “classic southern cooking”. This is the type of food that you could imagine a grandmother making because she thinks you need more meat on your bones. The biscuits are full, the gravy is thick and classically made with whole chunks of sausage in it, and the portions are big. The atmosphere is right out of a classic diner and comfortable to the point that I would be surprised if the cooks weren’t using griddle slang for orders. Definitely a place I would love to dine again.”

“I've tried a few of these tea spots around the state, and even though it is good, it's not my favorite one. First, I'll say the atmosphere is definitely the best. They have certainly made this place into something that starbucks would be jealous of. Secondly, the staff were super friendly and helpful, so that's always a plus. As for the teas themselves, I had the mega "blue raz" tea, and it seemed that I needed to mix it for a while before it didn't seem overly sour. My buddy had "the hulk" and he said the same. After mixing it though, it was pretty good. This tea also runs more expensive than the competitors that I've tried. Perhaps it's the different flavoring and ingredients, but I'm not sure. Overall, the tea IS good after I mixed it, and the service and atmosphere are top-notch.”

“Stopped here for a quick bite while visiting Point Pleasant. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. My favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich and it was hot and delicious. The fries were also fresh and crisp. There was plenty of parking and there was no wait, yet the food was freshly prepared. I definitely give this visit a thumbs up.”

She had her unicorn with her and Lori made sure to fix her up a special milkshake for her and her unicorn❤️ Just taking the time to put a smile on my toddler’s face really meant alot. And might I add, it was delicious!! (what few sips I was allowed to taste haha) Anytime I have ever came here, you feel so welcome and such a positive energy. Forever a hometown favorite❤️”

“This restaurant has good food…HOWEVER!!!! The food comes out lukewarm at best. The plates are SCORCHING HOT, very unsafe. Service used to be very on par but has become slower. Staff is very very friendly though. Beware: they charge a 3% credit card fee. I would recommend this restaurant but would say…I wish they would go back to the way they served the first month they were open.”

“Arriving from San Diego, where Mexican food is found on nearly every corner, I was a bit apprehensive about the dining options. However, I must say that the food at El Toril was excellent! During our two-week stay in town, we ended up visiting four times because it was that good. Not only was the food above and beyond, but the clean environment, friendly staff, and consistently high quality of the food will always keep us coming back for more. Thank you. “This is the cutest and most nostalgic Restaurant in the area! Totally worth a short drive from the interstate! Offering delicious burgers and hot dogs! Many ice cream flavors to choose from! The kids will love it! Great staff and very clean! Indoor and outdoor dining. Well lit and safe. Near gasoline and some other boutiques. Cute Gallipolis area! Rich historical story’s all over town.”
